Or not!

How about No Please!

i am just curious why the moderator moved my comment about NPE in another thread to this thread . i never mentioned ganking at all>
NPE probably needs its own thread for the other aspects like broken tutorials, understanding the market, using the help channel, mission running , how to find a corp etc.

Did he not merge the whole thread? Or was it just your comment?

Regardless, feel free to start an NPE specific thread. I know I certainly have opinions on the matter.

Also, welcome to the pit of despair that is this thread.

Perfect solution to confusion is the abilty post pictures that make us think of the meaning.

It is expendably cheap. For every vet who knows its true EHP potential…there’s gonna be newer people who will see just another 6K EHP frigate…and attack. So yes…good as bait.

I may well join you in due course…though I’d say I am not experienced enough yet. However my own personal corp ’ Angels One Five’ is allied to Absolute Order so I’d have to avoid any ‘blue on blue’. Having my own corp allows a degree of freedom from AO…but they’re not gonna like it if I start shooting them.

Since high-sec carebear AO chumps are always war-immune, that’s not really a problem.

I’m pretty sure AO’s nullsec operations are not war immune…and that was the whole reason I got called there for a fleet operation last week to defend nullsec HQ. I’m not entirely clear WHO was attacking as they never really did attack but withdrew when reinforcements arrived. Still, it was exciting visiting nullsec for the first time…not half as scary as I thought it would be.

That’s okay, it’s free structure kills! 700mil core per each Athanor, right? Just move through like a swarm of locusts and harvest while they look on, horrified but unwilling to do anything about it.

I’ve never seen their null-sec detachment members in high-sec. They segregate their activities so that anyone in high-sec is 100% safe (outside of suicide-ganking), because (surprise!) they aren’t in favor of PvP and will use any means available to avoid it (unless it’s time to smack-talk a single individual into putting down a 15-billion-ISK structure for them to dogpile on).

Either way, apparently they’re BLACKFLAG. pets, so it’s not like we’d be able to attack them anyway.

They don’t have high-sec structures. Also see the BF. pet thing above.

Ah. I was thinking of all those random HiSec corps that keep all their structures in 1 man holding corps. (One of the worst changes in the past few years honestly.)

NOOOOOOOOOOO. Do not fall victim to the PvP readiness fallacy. Dive in. have fun. Learn and grow as a player.

Speaking of which…what happened to Vast Empire ? A corp that sprung up in February and somehow got over 500 members very quickly and I’d regularly pass them all over the place, and now I haven’t seen one of them for weeks.

They were annexed by BRAVE.

I do. I regularly chase after people that AO has a bounty on…or flashy people in general. I had a stand off with one two weeks ago…and instead of attacking I actually got into private chat with the guy, who thought I’d have a 50/50 chance of beating him…and he gave a lot of advice. Which was good.

I attacked another flashy guy at Dodixie…which went on for an entire 4 minutes…lol…before both withdrew. Yet another bait ship. Again this led to a rewarding chat and me learning more.

So I am active and becoming more adventurous every day. Maybe still a bit too cautious…but that is fading away.

…are not “most people”.

Most people are not exactly sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for you to announce “most people don’t know about your high speed Condor fit”.

If you want a ton of frigate fits that fit the meta, go read the latest edition of the Novice Frigates Yearbook which has a very normal >15k EHP Punisher.

The guy I podded at Uedama didn’t

Given that I warped in at 70km and fired at 24km…I did well to get that one before any of the 20 or so other people there.

I guess it’s great that you’re having fun, but doing things this way is different from just being able to undock and have targets everywhere. You don’t need to wait for the stars to align just so you’re able to shoot someone legally who usually turns out to be a baiter anyway.

Doing things my way is like luxury. Once you do things this way, you don’t want to go back to the old way. It’s like having to ride the bus again after being driven around in a limousine by a chauffeur.
