it already exists, it is called USING YOUR FECKING BRAIN AND STOP BEING A BIATCH
I will say it again because I mean apparently repeating in this thread is mandatory.
I am perfectly fine moving the goal post, I am not set in one way or the other.
I already ran through the PvP definition to consider in this thread, so no need to cover again.

What is your next comment harden up or quit?
And that is what I have been saying to the gankers, Not a big deal, move your activities in the thousands of system in low, wh, null easy problem-solving. I am with you on that point for sure
JJ
I think you have lost your marbles. Maybe a more suited name would be Mad Max. Probably taken that would be a cool name.
Please, make one reference to a 100% safe area anywhere by me. I will save you time, you won’t find it. Don’t only think gankers are the only way to create destruction.

I started out as a total carebear…you could not have found a more wimpy or cautious player… and got ganked, gate camped, and lost a ship to NPCs…all within a few weeks of joining. As that was only 8 months ago I still have those shoes. I was the poster person for the ‘sort’ of person who would rage quit.
But none of that actually made me feel like leaving. Instead it was a HTFU kick up the ass…which was much needed. Eight months later I am still in the game, have formidable combat skills level, a fleet of over 150 ships ( some of which I give to noobs for free ), and am having a great time. I am still overly cautious…but that is fading away.
So…if a carebear starter can get ganked, gate camped, etc, and is still in the game…what’s the problem ?
No,
Just the other day a 20 minute conversation with someone got the following info: player 32 yrs old, 2 kids, and a wife, and 10 hr daily work schedule 6 days of the week…and he wants a game to just come home and relax to…to AFK in…i eventually told him EvE is nto for him then, cause i catch him AFK again I will use my gankers to kill him. and he is blue at this time…
SO no hard the feck up…just stop being lazy, dont be a biatch, use your Brain, you are not a fecking kid…want to a game to relax to…go play candylane with your kids.
It is great that you are strong like that, but I don’t think everyone is. Some may argue then Eve isn’t for them, and maybe that is correct. But in a game so vast with so much unused space, I find it hard to believe.
If more people had your attitude gankers would have more problems than concord.
For you no problem, for me no problem. But we are not everyone, unfortunately. I wish everyone was an outlaw like me or a survivor like you.
And thanks for helping out those new players, I think that makes a big difference in the game. Much respect.

To be honest, the kind of players CPP is actively seeking are none of the above.
It is the whales who, no matter what area of space they are in, will splash literally 1000s of dollars to replace their losses.
The spending of these players is only affected upwards by gankimg, not down. CCP dont attract people who stick around for £10 a month no more, they want Couch Substandard and his $12000 within two weeks spend.
If you dont believe me, check Twitch. Most of these moneybags stream.
I didnt believe it till I saw it, but $6000 is buttons to these people.
And ganking doesnt do anything but make em spend again, it seems.
I think you simply have no idea how boring highsec would be without gankers. My regular run to Jita to collect ammo, or pick up new ships I have made, would be boring without the risk of being ganked. When I used to buy and trade clone soldier tags ( I still have a stock of them at Vittenyn ) it would have been boring without the risk of my hundreds of millions of ISK cargo being ganked. Heck…sometimes I do the 70 jump trip to Amarr solely for the cat and mouse fun of wizzing past all the gankers. God how boring it would be if I could just put the ship on autopilot and know that it would arrive safely in Amarr while I watch Stranger Things.
The highsec that you want would make watching paint dry seem like a high risk danger sport.
It always amazes me how idiot’s get that kind of money in the first place.
Believe me ROW, they may be idiots about everything else, but they are the Professors of Raking-it-In!
I find it interesting he didn’t bother to answer you.
Welcome back!
Thank you
Nice to see you still around
No risk would be boring, but as stated before I am not pushing for a safe high sec where there is zero risk. But with the new population in low sec, maybe some hauling rounts there and that would be exciting if NPC were not enough.
JJ
You think I should answer questions on behalf of CCP? How would I know why they don’t change the coding to hold hostel NPC to the same restrictions as a player…I am positive no one in this thread would know.
JJ
Conjecture isnt hard to do though.
But look, if you are starting on a premise you are assuming is a fact (the thread title) and offering your own ideas of solutions to it (i.e. no ganking in high but more NPC threat), then if we are having a discourse on the matter the next step is to look at the pros and cons, what it entails etc?
Which involves asking questions like “what is the most reasonable reason as to why NPCs are allowed to cheat?”
Welcome back Ramona
Thank you Githany
I think you should answer the question as asked by another player.
But if that is true then Jesse W James cannot be your main…as it is just 11 weeks old account ( which is a recent starter ) and has zero killboard record at all, let alone millions of losses.
And why would anyone claiming to be ‘1 yr or less’ old need to put themselves in noobs shoes unless they were suffering from severe memory loss. I’ve been in the game 9 months and still remember exactly what being a complete noob is like. I don’t need to put myself in any long lost shoes…I still have those shoes in the hallway.
I’d also question whether someone who has never lost a ship ( at least not in any account you admit to ! ) is in any position to talk about ship loss.
I get the impression you are not being totally honest with us.
