Im not active on the forums at all and im not interested in reading up the entire history of this forum.
If my problem and argument aligns with other peoples issues with highsec ganking, it only legitimizes my stand in my opinion.

It does, most people do agree with you but just dont bother playing the game anymore because the situation is toxic. The pro-gankers are the vocal minority. But CCP defends griefind for some reason.
You keep repeating this. It’s true, Eve is a grim, dark, cold, dangerous universe. Always watching your back, trust no one, you’re never safe. The intro videos makes clear that’s the expectation when you first join the game.
Multiple people have made this argument in one varian or another
“we’ve spoken about this 100 times before… just stop”
If 100’s of other people has the same issue as me it legitimizes my point. You can believe me or not - but im not active on the forum, so if my points align with others, there is probably something terribly wrong with the mechanics of suicide ganking in this game.
Bro if you are playing space Excel for immersion… reality will hit you hard. W8… already did.
A SCI FI MMO fantasy game must, in order to function and be popular, have a somewhat coherent and logical gamedesign. The suiciding of thousands of crewmembers and valuable assets in highsec makes no sense.
Unlike when you die elsewhere in EVE where losing your stuff, is part of the thrill and a enhancer to the player experience (re territorial wars, mining in null, exploration etc.)
It does if you pay any attention to the lore whatsoever. Genocides have happened, people and crews die all the time, Capsuleers are villanized constantly by everyone including the Empires for their callousness towards human life and ability to be Gods Reborn. I don’t see you in the lore channels, nor the lore discord, so I don’t expect you to have the proper in-lore frame of reference.
It is an incredibly depressing and soul-crushing universe with little to no “good guys”.
To pretend that game immersion is not relevant to a fantasy games popularity and succes is pretty dumb in my opinion. No offense.
Give warhammer 40k its quote back,
You’re pretty dumb in my opinion. No offense.
Yeah it’s hard to tell which is more optimistic: 40k or New Eden.
Definitely new eden, there’s no tyranids eating everyone
I don’t know, becoming a thrall from one of the of mass populations captured routinely by Sansha might be a fate worse than death.
True but at least you have a chance of becoming an immensely rich, powerful and immortal being, in an universe not doomed yet.
Your immersion isn’t broken. EVE is a scary PVP game, being nuked once in a while is part of the immersion. You’re flying an obvious lazy/afk ship (of the three Exhumers) in a lazy location (a few jumps from Jita) with a crap fit that has no EHP, on a fricking Sunday. You’re pretty much the ideal target so why are you surprised?
Let me repeat it for you, slowly this time:
If you MUST (lol don’t, just use a Skiff) use an AFK Mack then at least use a decent one, like this:
[Mackinaw, 1]
IFFA Compact Damage Control
Mining Laser Upgrade II
Mining Laser Upgrade II
Large F-S9 Regolith Compact Shield Extender
Compact Thermal Shield Amplifier
Multispectrum Shield Hardener II
Multispectrum Shield Hardener II
Modulated Strip Miner II, Simple Asteroid Mining Crystal Type A II
Modulated Strip Miner II, Simple Asteroid Mining Crystal Type A II
Medium Core Defense Field Extender I
Medium Core Defense Field Extender I
Hornet II x5
Mining Drone II x5
This has more than TWICE the EHP vs Blasters compared to yours meaning you’re far less of a target.
I would argue that it very much depends on which capsuleer. Some security missions do have you help and save people. Still concord doesnt make sense in the lore. What police force (that is essentialy what concord is) would allow known criminals (gankers) to stay in a high sec systems. They say concord is here to punish not protect, i say it’s stupid and lazy excuses to allow a cancerous gameplay.
This is what i imagin you mean:
You are the admiral or captain of a suicide ganker ship and a fleet of 3 others. You stand at the control panel with your officers around you after inspecting your crew members. On the scanner you see a number of covetors mining. You are aware that there is multiple ships from the authorithies in the system that has a high security status, you are aware you will get obliterated and the entire crew will die painfully along with your officers if you attack the covetors. Then all of a sudden your highest ranking officer says “Captain Lore i have this document - its called the code. We must blow up this mining ship because it is boring to mine so safe in new eden. This is a dark and grim place after all. I propose that we shoot it and get attacked by the authorithies, our entire crew will die but this is a dark and grim place!”
On a serious note - i would be grateful if you could make this make sense to me from a lore or immersion POV. Then i would resub immedeatly - its not that i mind dying, i’ve died a lot in nullsec - but this highsec immersion system is so broken it ruins the game. Not interested, its simply too dumb.
Capsuleers are in their capsule though, not on the deck. They might very much not know the crew members working under them.
And the crew members might not even know what concord is.
No for me the stupid thing is how concord acts.
Mate i’ve had my jump freighter blown up in highsec. Just stop. As if the ship matters.
Well there’s your problem: you brought a jump freighter into high sec.
