Look at the player counts…two “huge” events and we’re at very low numbers…telling.
The players that are leaving are obviously casuals

This is exactly what the bittervets criticize…less explosions and so…and the casuals leave because for them the game is not shifting far enough towards casual …pretty clear in my eyes…the bittervets are not leaving because ,beside of what they state,nearly nothing has changed for them beside inconviniences but WHAT was changed is already too much for them…so they just THREAT to leave to convince CCP to take back the inconvinience they experience…

Nailed it inconvenience is it, I shouldn’t need to set alarms or skip work to fend off NPCs attacking structures in Highsec. Get rid of rubbish like FOBS or match the risk to the reward. Stinks of an I’ll get NPC to kill their structures then they’ll plex to replace them. Pure cash grab and all this highsec inconvenience just discourageds new players.
