Sounds like many of us would REALLY win eve at that point. Doing more productive things than playing games and all.
Honestly, the only game I really play is eve…

he’s biomassing them before CCP gets the chance to ban. so he’s not breaking any rules, CCP giving alphas access to the foums is the issue. they should have read only access.
Shut up Balos.
Gees, I was drunk last night, and I can barely remember making my last post, but alas, what I said I still stand by - CCP have lost the community and I do not believe this can now be rectified - eve is genuinely dying and all concurrent stats back this up - “ccp upper management” should pat themselves on the back for the cash grab and miss-direction - and possibly apologise to PA when asked why less people than ever are playing this game they have just invested in.
If there were different voices in their heads, they wouldn’t all write the same.
Balos and his posting alts have been remarkably easy to detect though very persistent oddities in writing style.
Some of you men on the internet and your roleplaying - can we keep it simple please?
Dude, you’ve got some good points in your original post but since you replied to me, it’s not roleplaying.
alas, bed soon for me - I shall digest the musings you have made anon
There is a lot going on here. Firstly, it is summer. People play games less often in summer, supposedly. I think that’s just fine. But everyone who says CCP has made terrible mistakes and ruined the game… I think that’s an exaggeration. I won’t defend CCP though because they certainly have made mistakes and upset players, but I don’t think it upset so many thousands of people that our concurrent player numbers has dropped.
Guys. the game is old. I think younger players aren’t looking for Eve. Younger gamers are looking for FPS games or other shooters. They don’t want to compete with tactics or practicing pvp theory. They want to test their awesome twitch reflexes and get huge kill streaks on the replay cam and other garbage. They want a real free to play with huge cash shops because they can’t afford to pay for the game or they don’t want to. They could be spending all their money on beer and a crappy used car.
As for older gamers and players, people move on. People have started careers, or families, or gotten new hobbies. People can move on to other games, too. I’ll be honest, I’ve tried a couple dozen different MMO games in the last 15 years. There are a lot of games out there; some of them are actually worth playing too.
I don’t point to CCP and say that everthing they do is wrong. They have improved the game in many ways over the years. It’s not an easy task that CCP has. They can’t just increase the level cap and make a few dungeons to keep people grinding exp for the next 12 months.
And yet both seem to motivate Mittardiis actions.
Are you serious? You think a whole generation only likes one thing? FPS where always popular, today as much as 20 years ago, so are strategy games.
EVE was a niche, but it had its followers and fans, probably still has. But CCP ■■■■■■ it up.
What is there to do for most people other than grinding shitty minigames that are so boring I could not stand them for 10min?
I have no clue who they design the PvP mechanics for. Space stations that need weeks to kill where you have to attack at a certain time and date? Who has time for that? And what’s the point if the loot teleports magically away anyway? Hunting is still dead because they wanted to protect their friends with supers more. Wardecs are as fuckedup as they ever where.
Maybe it’s still fun if you are completely demented and enjoy the boring mess they call PvE, or if you have no job and your only dream is to use all your time to become some sort of space dictator. Or maybe you can also play it as ultimate beta male and just press F1 when the space dictator tells you.
There is just nothing left that makes it worth playing for me. And yes I’m extremely cynical
Oh and did I forget to mention the lack of vision? EVE was always a bit ■■■■. But they showed that they have some big plans and goals for the game. They never materialized, but at least there was a feeling of CCP has some interest in making this game into something awesome. Where is that now?
Seriously? The whole “player build stargates, new space and colonisation” ended up being a cheap jump bridge replacement. And what now? Nothing?
And what about the storyline? What is this triglavian stuff? Drifters 2.0? Sleepers 3.0? Another faceless super boring “enemy” with super awesome Jove tech that loses fleets of ships to single capsuleers in a regular “shoot the red cross over there then shoot the next red cross”-PvE BS? Do they think just mentioning they are somehow Jove related makes it interesting? For the third time? And then what they are just another boring background NPC?
This game is going nowhere. It isn’t worth my money anymore.
It’s a bad sign when they abandon mechanical changes for flavor of the month changes…but thoughts require way more cash so…
Now they have added Drifters.
Totally in line with their ideas of space colonization
Wait… It might be…
What if CCP plans to force all existing 0.0-dwellers to leave the game by ramping up Drifters until there is no solution and when 0.0-space is finally empty they will allow new generation to go there and colonize?
Sure they will add strict rules of “gun-politics” and “no diplomacy” and “no more than 1 system per player” and all this stuff to prevent players from making alliances.
For sure if some players are found to try to make alliance they will get “rewarded by amazing content of Drifters”.
Sounds like plan!
And why are you still here?
Only rabid fanbois are allowed?
As a customer (former or current) he’s allowed to make his feelings about the product known; in fact CCP encourage customers that are leaving to provide feedback on the reasons why.
He’s not alone in his thoughts about the direction CCP are taking either.
To wish you all the best with your demented PvE minigames. Why what did you think?
On the opposite, they drive it AROUND the wall by avoiding and not listening to the “all is well, keep it like it always was” voices…
If they had listened to those voices it would be much worse…
Just finally get this simple fact…
YOUR wet PVP only dream is what will kill this game…a final nail in the coffin.
And as i said…the correction to the right course is far from beeing over…
Ahhh, ok. I just asked because I wanted to know why someone would invest all their time into something they didn’t like.

You’re correct and I agree 100%. I wasn’t telling him to leave or to shut up, I just simply asked him why he was still here.
