To put the current situation we players are confronted with into perspective, here are some examples of āthe good old daysā when there was a real and sustained effort to communicate with the player base, due process if you will, instead of throwing 
over the wall.

Iād like to add, as someone who has just started playing, I am watching the development of this āfeatureā very carefully, and especially how communication with the users is handled. I am currently an alpha clone, but I can assure you that this behavior is not going unnoticed, and itās certainly going to influence my decision on whether going forward, Iām going to invest any money into this game.
So far, itās not looking good. While I do enjoy the game very much, in the three weeks Iāve been playing it, Iāve already ran into a number of bugs ranging from āslightly weird, but okayā to āpretty effing annoyingā. Seeing a new āfeatureā being added that provides absolutely no utility, and is poorly implemented on top, and then simply ignoring the entire user base, who seems to universally loathe it, is just putting a bad taste in my mouth. This is certainly not the kind of company behavior I want to support, and rest assured, I will be voting with my wallet.
This trainwreck of a feature has been out for over week now, and I have literally not seen a single person who actually liked it. On top of that, I have seen no official statement from CCP, no attempt at damage control, literally no reaction at all (except locking up all the forum threads about it). This entire thing just reeks of reckless arrogance, and itās putting a fat stain on an otherwise quite enjoyable and fascinatingly well crafted game.
I sure hope that weāll see a change of heart soon. It would really suck to be joining EVE just at the moment it goes down the toilet.

I can see narrow niche uses for this āfeatureā, but it is such an annoying change that it should default to off and be opt-in.
It would be more useful if it had a user definable threshold to appear. Perhaps āappear only on item stacks over 100m ISKā with 100m being user defined.
Until this change can be made, this āfeatureā should be scrapped. The game was better without the constant nuisance.

Checkboxes in options please. Turn off inventory notices, turn off inventory sounds.
You could also add inventory mails, every time an item goes into the inventory send player a mail stating soā¦like ā¦go bigā¦ if this is a legit problem for people warranting a red dot notice. Just give the rest of us a way to not be badgered by the UI.

I think this feature is a miss. You donāt really need notification for non-fleet hangars since rest of transfers are transfers you either done manually or was striving for (Mission objective magically teleported in your cargo, which also triggers mission notification change, making red dot redundant).

Hi, I believe you have ISD confused with CCP. Allow me a brief moment to explain the difference between the two.
CCP are the folks that make, develop, and run EVE Online for a living.
ISD are volunteers who work under CCP and help the community out. They have next to no say in āfixingā game mechanics.
