New Wardec mechanics - can't wait!

What you are afraid of. Can you list one reason why besides “it hasn’t been done this way and I don’t like it” for any change?

What are you talking about?

Your fear of risk. It’s an obvious thing. You don’t want more risk to your activity. Why? Eve has always been a game about taking risks for opportunity.

Why are you risk averse?

I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t have a need to change the game.

Are you barking up the wrong tree maybe? You tell me.

No. You’re against any change so hard that you’re afraid of taking the risk involved with it. HTFU?

How about you HTFU?

Already have. I’m ready to take risk related to the activity I’m involved in. Are you ready to risk your structure to declare war?

Doesn’t look like it to me. Try again.

I’m convinced a new type of structure will be needed for that.
Something smaller and more practical to use and less tedious to attack (although @Dracvlad convinced me that that tedium might have been a tad exaggerated).

I think one element that will have to be tackled alongside that rework of wardecs is adding ways to curb the proliferation of structures, such that people would actually contest each other to put them in.

In that case, a merc group anchoring a structure in your system would be significant. It would be an alarm signal for everyone in that system, and it would serve as a way to indicate “I’m here for your space, bitches!!!”.

This can’t happen if people can just anchor whatever structure they want wherever whenever.

Actually, people should be able to do so. But more value should be placed upon the ones like Mining Refineries that ask for limited spots. And Diplomatic structures could ask for one of those spots.

And I just realized one of those things could be stations………

Will have to think about that for a bit, BRB…

Aww… so you don’t want to have risk. Shame. Too bad.

We already have structure war in the game and you already put it at risk.

And yet adding to that is something you’re risk adverse to. Again and again. More and more. Repeating it forever like a broken record when benefits can be gained for adding it.

No. I’m saying it’s not needed, because it’s already in the game.

If this doesn’t make sense to you then what will?

Oh goodie. Structures are already needed for war in the game. Wait… No it isn’t. That’s you projecting one risk as another.

Over 400 posts. There has to be a link somewhere about this being something ccp is working on. Where is this link to talks of changing dec mechanics?

No. You can have war without structures, too. You only what that part removed. Maybe that’s something you fear?

Added. Removal would be deleting the option to declare war. Added would be tying the ability to declare war to a risk. Isk isn’t risk. Never will be.

If you think your structures aren’t currently tied to any risk then go set them up. See if I care.

No, I think war isn’t tied to any risk. Switching the target again strawman.

Do you mean by war the war declarations or the actual fighting?
