You seem to be starting from the premise that things aren’t currently balanced, and the fact that overpowered defensive intel (which was heavily abused by bots and bot-like players) was nerfed means that every other intel source needs a nerf as well so that the farmers retain a relative advantage. This is an utterly terrible idea.

If one side don’t get any intel from game, why other side get it for free from game data? If intel for one side is based only on player interactions (yes I know they use bots for this). Make that other side also need to use scouts so they know what is happening around them.

Also, as defender you should have advantage of fighting in your home.

The PvE player absolutely gains intel from it. Players in space tells them which systems need to be scouted for gatecamps (or other PvP activity) before entering, ships destroyed tells them which systems have recent PvP activity and PvP threats that might still be lurking to wait for more targets.

I don’t know how often you krab in null but this is not a activity you do in border systems but deep in your territory. So outdated data about pilots in space, unless you don’t have friends in that systems give zero information for you that there is someone there hiding.
