NFT's are Fundamentally a MLM-Type Scam Designed to Get You to Buy Crypto

That’s good information. Bitcoin cards should be like the “quadro chips” in the old days, for real design and rendering.

Compare the hashrate AND wattage on Ethereum using a GTX Titan then an AMD RX 6600 XT. You will find the 6600 gives a more efficient hashrate even though it is less than the Titan.

Some info from google regarding typical GPU’s;

In the 1999-2000 timeframe , computer scientists, along with researchers in fields such as medical imaging and electromagnetics, started using GPUs to accelerate a range of scientific applications. This was the advent of the movement called GPGPU, or General Purpose GPU computing.

This video explains a lot about the Compute functions of a GPU, personally I think this is all amazing and that the GPU will be at the core of technologies yet to be discovered.

So I hope we can see here everyone is very excited about GPU’s and the possibilities, Gaming, Graphics, Computing, Crypto all have mathematics in common, which makes NFT’s valuable, this is such a cool and futuristic way of doing business.

This is basic informatics. GPGPU have been present since the moment you had a GPU. That “compute” is nothing new.

GPU techs are unrelated to bitcoins and co. They need very specific programing and context to be of any use, typically modeling.

So no, it does not make NFTS valuable. They are still a scam. even when you add techno BS in that.

Anything done on a computer has mathematics in it. it’s not cool and futuristic ; it’s techno BS and scam.

That’s my exact point, my further point is why is it suddenly a scam because someone decided to use it for a currency?

The circumstance is the scam…to get you to invest by getting you to be interested in side-channel stuff seemingly unrelated. In the end you dump you money into the market, it raises the value of another item…in this specific case the currency value.
This is basic market manipulation. You manipulate the price of your the items you already have (the currency) and cash out when it is to your liking.

Or you could see the value of BTC as an indication of how available it is. If it’s lower then there is lots available, if it’s higher then there is less available.

Also there are many ways you can invest, please do not think the only way is to buy directly, An old computer with an 8GB GPU will generate about £20 to £30 worth of BTC per month you can exchange it to GBP/USD and then use it to pay a bill. This way the only thing you’ve invested is a little bit of time building/repairing and configuring a pc and the small increase in electric use which you can pay for with what you earn from mining.

Please stop thinking the only way to get BTC is to buy it outright, you are mistaken. You can earn it by allowing the processing power of your GPU to be used in a mining pool.

Yes, from a traders perspective you do invest money in the market directly, from a miners perspective the money is invested in hardware which you know has a value to gamers, or the general computer user.

from google;

Parallel computing is a type of computing architecture in which several processors simultaneously execute multiple, smaller calculations broken down from an overall larger, complex problem.

This is cool and futuristic because more is possible with GPU’s as their number of cores keep growing.

You’re not a real nerd, what you doing here?

No it’s not.

Dude I worked on datacenters using GPGPU 10 years ago.
You are saying ■■■■. And making personal attacks . But that’s thus plain techno BS.

You’re not a real intelligent person, what are you doing here ?

No, they were afraid it was going to hurt the church because of their narrative that they gave about things revolving around the earth. You only cleared up how you hate.

Your presumptions are the reason why I don’t take you seriously. You prove through your ignorance that your arguments are invalid. You only educate yourself to battle, and not speak the truth.

You’re quite a miserable person, GPU’s are more powerful than they’ve ever been in history, they’ve had more cores than ever, Some beautiful looking games are possible and you’re not excited. Go ahead and disagree that some amazing GPU’s came out last year and make yourself look silly.

Stay in your own little bubble thinking nothing is cool and exciting, millions disagree with you, you are on your own with a handful of other ignorant people.

Stop typing to me man, you’re just a misery to talk with.

I’m intelligent enough not to ignore facts, and put narratives before facts.

You mean you was making the coffee for the people working on GPGPU’s 10 years ago.

Good Bye, it’s been horrible talking with you.

Yet I’m the one whose found a way to put all the old tech I already had and some new to use and earn money from it. I had 2 RX 580’s from 2017 before I started mining they cost me £200 each at the time and today they sit on my mining rig, they earn me around £1.40 per day.

These aren’t the actions of an idiot, you are an idiot for calling me an idiot. And you are an idiot for ignoring GPU technology and it’s applications.

I’m not here to prove anything. You are free to believe what you like and ignore what you like. I’m here to relay facts and use my experience on the matter to inform of my findings. If I was getting scammed I would have told everyone that.

LOL, You was a coffee boy. Unless you want to tell me exactly what you was doing there you was a coffee boy and that’s that.

Galilei lived unmarried with Marina Gamba. And had two daughters that became nuns as no one would marry them due to being born outside of wedlock.
Galilei was the hater that because the Religious system should be changed to whatever he wants.

Ah ok, everything I said above is now invalide because … you make a blanket statement and never adressed anything like an adult? At least Galilei used science, unlike you.

It’s not easy to be a coffee boy, just go to around the 4 minute mark and you’ll see !

Anderson_Geten asks questions. It’s possible you talk next to each other, just do your best to adress the questions and refute their objections. No need to demean anyone here as that won’t help people understand crypto.

Can you not see it’s impossible to reason with this man called Geten lol? When someone can’t even admit new GPU’s that have come out recently are next level then no kind of meaningful convo can be had with such a person.

The graphics on games these days are just mind blowing thanks to GPU capability, the fact he shrugs off points like this as if they are nothing means he will deal with other topics in the same manner.

lol, this is good.

Ok, there are many posters around that do that. Just try to keep the conversation light and fun. Answer waht you can and the the worst case agree to disagree. If he thinks it’s a scam and you can’t refute it, just explain how things can work. An MLM scam has science behind it too.

Give examples, like here, another gem! A guy working for the Mississippi Department of… Environmental Quality… I bet he’s ready to sell some Green Energy Certificates for NFT’s lol. You can’t make this sh*t up.

And you are making a strawman again.

I did not say that. You are talking out off your arse, again. Blatant dishonesty.

But it IS unrelated to BTC.

The GPGPU are NOT USED for graphics. So the graphic improvements are unrelated to crypto. It’s actually the opposite, a better GPU is a worse GPGPU because it will have chipsets dedicated to a task.

That’s why “Yeah they use ASIC miners these days”. Because GPU is bad for mining.

Again, you prove you have no idea what you are talking about.

So of course there is no discussion. You pretend that BTC is “cool” because video games are cooler - and then, you pretend to talk about facts. That’s completely stupid, plainly wrong.

Your claims are obviously wrong for anyone with a basic of knowledge in the matter.

No, you are scamming people because now you realized you were a fool and know you can’t get the investment back .
You are a dishonnest liar, a scammer and an idiot.

Making strawmen after strawmen, claiming things that are factually wrong, dodging points with personal attacks.
