LOL, you typing such a pointless and ignorant message generates waste. CCP now have to expend electric to store this nonsense
You mentioned Nicehash in your earlier comments and mention GPUs for mining more recently, is all of your mining via Nicehash since gpu mining for Bitcoin isnāt profitable or do you mine other cryptocurrencies directly?
In terms of BTC do you operate your own node for BTC transactions, or simply receive it as payment from Nicehash?
I donāt mine anything directly and I use Nicehash with my GPUās. I receive BTC as payment from Nicehash for any processing power I provide.
All of my BTC transactions are done through Coinbase where I am a registered user.
So you donāt operate your own BTC node of any sort, and only interact with BTC through Coinbase?
I also read the rest of the text, just didnāt want to quote all. And this important to know as it does require maintenance and hard work. i would like to point out that in some way you use the profit to pay yourself. Ok, in a non-accountant way, but you do it āwithout booksā.
There are the things I spoke of a while ago :
- The item of the maintenance of your GPU
- worktime āordering itā,āfetching or receptionning itā
- cooler paste, £1~£7 per chip
So yes, you work for free but if you would follow a basic course on running a business you would probably have a better way to enhance your profits as now you just take all the time to do it, which isnāt ārealisticallyā profitable but -I understand- for you itās like a hobby.
@Nana_Skalski 's remark was a bit short but without going into details she assumes you cannot possibly have a profit if you would do it āas a legal businessā (and I do not say that what you do isnāt legal here, you are just āhobby-ingā it) where you have to account for all fixed and variable costs and profits. I donāt see it as an insult just some of us work in a different structure.
You should watch some UKās Dragonās Den or USAās Shark Tank, itās fun. Hereās a fun one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf4zNLxJZnY
Correct.
Sending BTC from Nicehash to Conbase used to be free due to some sort of promotion, now it is about £0.09p per transaction.
This. Even only taxes on manpower would cut your price down to 0.
You can only make money because you assume āwork you do yourself is freeā, that is you value yourself below any acceptable value.
I guess your boss is very happy that you donāt ask to be paid overwork ā¦
Also, yes it is illegal. He must declare all his sources of income - and then get taxed on it.
He is just playing a game, and I wish him he can get some money out from it before its too late. Because when it is too late it will be only an expeience he will aquire, too expensive for what its worth.
I would not invest my time in that, not even mentioning money.
Your concern is appreciated but unnecessary as I am a grown man, my eyes are very much open and I can see whatās happening in the world today. I may well end up losing money, I can also end up earning a lot of money. This is not a game to the 320,000 people in El Salvador who use BTC for all financial aspects of their life and it is not a game for me either (even though I have fun while doing it LOL).
I am in a good position as I have already got back much of what I originally spent and pretty soon I will have all of my original investment back. Iām unaware of any other kind of investment in the world where I could have received my original money back so quickly and then be in a good position to keep on earning, Even with the BTC value at what it is right now I am still very very happy.
You are entitled to your speculation on what may happen, if you canāt be any more specific about why you think that maybe we could leave the convo there.
People in el salvador want dollars, not btc. Those numbers you wrote, its not mass adoption, its what left from the initial scam, and guess where is going the city build on volcano that still have smoke rising from the top of it. Genuinely I dont want that news to erupt on tv. Virtual goods will be fine I assume, on some accounts, as dollars, but real people could die.
Itās better if they actually say what they want instead of people telling them what they want. evidently 320,000 intelligent adults do not agree with you. You will have to accept it is there for them if they choose to use it. It is not being imposed on them and people who donāt want BTC can use dollars with no issue.
Iām sorry but new things donāt get adopted overnight, this is an unreasonable way to think. After some time more people in El Salvador will adopt bitcoin. Itās not been long since it became legal tender there and it will be interesting to see statistics after 1 year.
I think there will be a BTC city but i doubt it will be right next to the volcano powering it, I think the safety officials will need to have stern words with Bukele as there are major safety concerns. I hope they change the location and just have the geothermal energy gathering operation at the base of the volcano.
So we are not allowed to talk for⦠4 to 5 years? How much more do they need? Apparently in Venezuela itās not used much,
Over one year, only $4.5 million of the $19 million have been transferred⦠hmmmā¦
You told me Person (X,Y,Z) would not be able to get money from teh coins?
hmmm⦠so weird, but hey, YOU are the expert but as far as MY HYPOTHETICAL story goes, I have proven EVERY POINT obviously with Internet articles. But Iām not going to travel there and investigate it myself lol.
That would be shifting the burden of proof lol.
The thing is, that he does not know the difference between facts and opinion.
Fact : I saw a pink elephant yesterday
Opinion : the earth is flat (or not)
Learn the difference.
Maybe not all of them, some feel stiffed. How do some of the poor people in El Salvador pay for good lawyers in case they get bamboozled?
Hey, just a quick reply, everything in this article seems to show what happens when shitty idiotic people try to become crypto exchanges. None of the issues are actually with BTC as we find that issues stemmed from the poor management of funds and Binance not being prepared for a large volume of web traffic.
No, my point was give those in El Salvador a chance to start building up lifetime wealth using BTC, lots of people hoarding a percentage of their BTC would drive the value up. Thereās just no way to judge it fully after a few months. obviously itās interesting to look at the stats at this point but never think that you will get the full picture. Iām very excited to see how all of this plays out.
Your Hypothesis depends on the person receiving the GPUās not being caught and forced to reveal where the BTC was sent. If the criminals donāt mind taking that risk then they should go ahead. Just know that if that person testifies that in court and it can be proven your device accessed a bitcoin wallet that might be a problem.
At some point the person receiving the BTC for the shady deal will have to sign up to an exchange to get cash. As you mentioned they can buy/rent a house with it by all means, but if police are watching that address they will see it transferred to whoever you are buying/renting from, when they check that BTC address it might be on an exchange, they can find the owner and then ask who gave them the BTC.
He had to work to be able to afford the house, electricity, plumbing, internet, equipment, and everything else he owned before he started doing his bitcoin thing. The only one in tears is all of you people in this thread for not realizing an opportunity others made profit from.
The whole idea of this thread is looking if it really is.
Bitcoin value is still down about 30percent since a year ago.
We are still discovering the costs of the operation and are not satisfied with the answers.
Did you read the post where Aaron says its a passive SECOND income, he is still working and you still struggle with facts.
