I can confirm that ORE on null sec belts are not respawning as they should by this hour.
The exact mechanics are not known AFAIK
Thank you… I wish CCP would give us more concrete an answer than “The spawn probability of all Ice Sites will decrease.”
It gives CCP a blanket excuse to always say their respawn timers are acting as designed and we as players have no way to hold them accountable since we don’t know how it works. The vagueness of the statement tells players very little in the way of any actual information, and somehow the respawn mechanic went from time based to probability based? Like wtf? It’s not like Ice Belt respawn mechanics are “trade secrets” that would cripple CCP if an explanation of how they work got out.
Game developers should always clearly explain how their mechanics work, but there’s a lot of things CCP should do. They can’t even monetize their own game properly and lost out on a $200 million performance bonus.

Working great so far.
Only issue I have is game sometimes stutters after a probe scan but I think that might be due to the agency window refreshing. When I close it (not minimised) the stutter disappears.
Perhaps (just speculation) this might have something to do with de-/spawns in the region triggering refreshes
No respawns from astroids and rats, keeps the game clean.

I been getting local chat lag …i mean no one shows for a bit .
Mostly i find bright nebulas super annoying . Otherwise all good .

I am likely in the minority but I like downtime. There’s something so eve about it.
It has been missing since the Caldari event ended. Its not related to the lack of downtime. Just CCP forgetting to flip a switch ><
Actually the downtime is great as it reminds me everyday that it is time to give my minature jack russle his meds. i have also seen some lag not a lot though but some on my chat windows also and as for highsec ore anomalies would be great to bring it back as some players are not either interested or willing to head down to null for some much needed ores.
Also would be great to have the daily sp activities.
It isn’t like CCP cares about miners any way. I guess our money is not any good, any more.
Hey good luck with the test. Here are some of the issues I found until now:
Yesterday evening, after flying a new ship from 1 station to another (9 jumps) I could not use the fitting tool anymore, tried a couple of times, had to log out and in before I could use it again.
Experienced lags with the following yesterday and today:
- opening fitting tool, opening skill tool (character), opening inventory (different chars, different stations). Sometimes it goes all smooth, sometimes it lags quite a lot, mostly between 1-2 seconds but sometimes quite long like 20 seconds or so.
No game-breaking errors of course
My account was bugged in a system and a GM had to move it manually to another system, and told me to not come back to that system until the next downtime, surprise, there is no downtime in two days
Cloaked and tether at the same time only
Disappearing ships
And capital ships stuck in the middle of a warp for minutes
All of this and more only in the no downtime day
Hi, CCP! It’s a great idea about no downtime game, but we have too much activities related with it (downtime).

Well no ore respawns is a great way to reduce server load since there will be no miners and much fewer gank targets in the near-term and no industry or players in the long-term. MMO servers with no players run great!
