The person attacking can’t tell the difference, it’s not on the attacker to try and figure out if it’s an “honorable kill” or not. Whether it’s to defend an incursion into their space, or if they’re hunting, the person that fires first has no idea what is happening behind the other player’s screen.

You must lead an extremely sheltered existence in EVE if you actually have time to work out who’s a veteran and who isn’t. When targeting a suspect at a gate, there is no time to look that stuff up. You have to lock on before they get away….and split seconds make all the difference. There’s zero point having a fast locking time if you’re gonna spend 10 seconds looking up their bio and moralising over whether to shoot them

Sorry he had lost his ship that way.. But I do notice something here at the same time. The twitch streamer/player is not here carrying on about it.. He had a parent situation come up that took him away from his show and the game. He came back to see his ship destroyed. Probably was a little upset, but is not here to cry over it.
Lissa Kalissa in Eve a ship getting blown out of the sky is just a Wednesday for most. Am I unconcern. No, not really. Just want to know if I can sell him a new ship plus modules. And if the ganker needs more ammo. Cause you know as a filthy arms merchant. I am always concerned by the loss of a ship and ammo. It gets me right in the bottom line. I tell ya..

That seems to be the case and it is okay because that is what the game is. I only thought someone would want to carry on a friendly conversation about subjects of my last post in this thread but I don’t hold my breath for sympathetic people most of the time. Why everyone is so angry I don’t know.
Because you’re trying to tone police and change the game from what it is, JUST because you feel like it.
when did eve online player have honor ? this isn’t a dark souls duel or for honor game
he could have just click on a station/citadel and press the dock to button, the ship would have aling and warp to the station/citadel and dock up while he was dealing with the child throwing up.
Also, turning off the streaming would have helped a bit.

Two thousand Euros wont make anyone the richest player in EVE. Its actually ‘only’ around 300 Billion ISK. The richest players are in the Trillions.

Game forums are notorious for the posts you are seeing. A civil conversation can happen at times.. Just the other day I was on the forum and a civil conversation broke out. It took everyone by surprise too.. 
It takes a thick skin to post on most forum threads. And while not as toxic as I have seen in other game forums. Though someone coming and raging about losing a ship and how everyone sucks. That is as good as chumming the waters. Then being surprised that sharks show up and not guppies.
The likes and get likes, caturday, the self help, and a few others are places where a good conversation can happen. This one the OP opening salvo of No Honor title drew a line in the sand. The first post made it clear that this was going to be a rage post OOPPSIE, Chum in the water.

Players are pixels as well. This is a computer game. Hard to have empathy when you can’t actually see the other person. Human beings didn’t evolve empathy for 1s and 0s. Perfectly understandable why people just don’t care.
(There’s a likelihood you’re an OP’s alt anyway, by the way, so why even argue with you).
I was wondering why that didn’t happen. But maybe it was that urgent that he couldn’t even make that one press. Or maybe the emergency happened mid-warp. In any case, the victim seems to care much less about his loss than other people.

Not yet used to it I only was on Steam forums and it’s okay, the trouble makers are dealt quick or banned. I usual go to the No Man’s Sky forum. It is very civil and helpful. There was an accident of civil convo here you are saying like it’s a miracle and it is sad because the game is great and made 3 friends already they are rookies like me so we help when one finds a piece of mechanics the others may not know like when in the ship the info window shows you the real stats with you in the ship in green match your trained skills or use the keyboard arrows to altern the orbit of your ship… I tried to ask question in Help Chat but nobody answered and it scroll too fast anyhow so maybe I missed it.
I agree. If you come in negative at the start it will only get worse and everybody deserve be polite with others so yes I understand the other members did not welcome with open arms but it seem that they thought I was O.P because they give the same attitude to me or maybe they are that way all the time I don’t know
