November Release: Invasion Chapter 2 - General Feedback

The 991 bookmarks are in the folder, they just won’t be displayed until you move/organize things in the folder to get down to 3000 total.

This is still one submenu too many. Can’t we have those ‘Personal Locations’ show up in the current place of ‘Locations’ in the rightclick menu, like it was before?

Sure, I have some folders with rarely-used bookmarks that I still want to save in case I need them. Even though more sub-menus are annoying, it wouldn’t be too bad if those folders were available a level deeper.

However, I want to be able to access my most important bookmarks right away with as few actions as possible. I don’t want to have to fight my way through sub-menus looking where I stored that ‘safe’ bookmark when I get surprised by enemy pilots.

Hello @CCP_Antiquarian @CCP_Lebowski

CCPLease: Where are the Trig Dread Blueprints, The Trig Capital Comp Blueprints?

Sincerely;
Mr w33dS

Could we also get rid of this “Type” column? Or move it to the last column position. It does not provide any useful info except “Coordinate” - which is the same for each line - and occupies valuable screen space.

Have to add my 2 cents to the discussion, can you move the location entry in the right click menu to the first place so that it’s always at the same relative location to where you right clicked, then going down to a specific submenu is always the same motion.
Also please sort the folders in the right click menu alphabetically or give it a setting somewhere where you can configure your prefered order (can be done all on the client so no overhead on the server). Currently it looks like this:

10 (A…, Z…, B…)

minor PS: Would be lovely when we could have more then 5 online folders, with 7 or 8 would be sooo much better

edit: pic was not showing

You can buy additional online bookmark folders in the New Eden Store./s

Disgusting idea with changing coordinates. The inability to sell to a specific person, the transfer of data to any outsider at any distance.

We really ought to still be able to create and trade bookmarks as items. Consider reintroducing this, if possible.

It seems rather clear the bookmark rework has been inspired by the technical server issues and not by an inspiring idea about how to improve player experience.

Let me hence give you 2 suggestions :

Suggestion 1 : Add a big red button to the screen. Once you push it you are frozen in space and invulnerable. This gives the player all the time in world to peruse the bookmark menus till you find what you need. Once you press the bookmark you are instawarped to it.

Don’t like that one? Suggestion 2 is perhaps more to your liking

Suggestion 2 : add a window to the screen that shows you the contents of 1 bookmark folder, limited to 8 bookmarks or so, with a warp button next to them. System related of course. So this would make your favorite bookmarks more accessible and easier to use. And you can keep your new not really improved system for those that are used less.

This already exists. It is the People and Places window.

Too bad the People & Places windows displays all folders. gg on cutting off half his message to make a point and still failing

You can right-click a folder and open it in a window, which sorta works. It doesn’t auto-refresh though. A Warp To button on these windows would be interesting. Perhaps a “Local Bookmarks” window?

I don’t care for these changes. hail 200mm autos will still be outdamaged at 1km by mf small beam lasers at 8km. emp 425mm autos at 1km will still be outdamaged by mf heavy beam lasers at 16km. this is completely ass-backwards. short range guns like autos should do substantially more base dps than long range weapons. this should be obvious to anyone. if anything, I’d like to see less falloff, not more.

this rifter buff - we’ve had I think 4 rifter changes now, to try and bring it up to being usable (or as usable as other t1 frigs lol). this change is actually a buff, unlike the last one, but if you address the base damage issue of the guns, you might solve all the projectile issues at once. after this rifter change, I think a hail rifter at 1km might slightly slightly outdamage a beam tormentor at 8km, if the beam tormentor forgets to bring drones. so that’s something I guess.

the bellicose bonus is silly. why do I want a missile explosion velocity bonus while flying a bellicose? a bellicose is supposed to be bringing bonused painters, so me and my fleet should be rolling in damage application. if you want to know why the bellicose sucks, it’s because it’s down a slot and has no fitting, and lacks # effective weapon hardpoints. if a ship’s damage potential just isn’t there, it will always be bad, if shooting stuff is something it’s meant to do. (this is comparing it to other t1 cruisers only - if you want the larger reason why it sucks and nobody ever uses it, it’s the same reason as all t1 ships in current year.)

So, what are the consequences of betraying the empires? Without consequences you cannot betray, you know?

There goes the neighborhood…. again.

The Scope has established that flashpoints between Triglavian forces and CONCORD/local empire forces are scenes of fierce space combat in at least half a dozen star systems. Capsuleers have reported Triglavian stellar platforms and CONCORD observatories are the focus of fighting

Who would make a deal with the devil, if these Triglavian “stellar platforms” popping up in more and more places, started to cause massive system-wide resource disruptions? Are the Trigs starting (or going to) reward loyal defenders, with some of their technology?

Questioned on the consequences of siding with the Triglavians, the head of AEGIS replied, “Any capsuleer siding with the Triglavian invaders is a traitor to civilization on a level with the dupes of Sansha’s Nation and the murderous followers of the Blood Raiders. We condemn them utterly and warn them that they are playing with the very future and survival of New Eden.”

As declarations by CONCORD haven’t done much to dissuade some pilots from adopting the mantle of the Sansha or Blooders, will they take a harder line with pilots who aid this enemy? “…playing with the very future and survival of New Eden…” - what if these pilots were marked as “suspects” for their actions, any time they cross into high security space? Not just for 15 minutes after an offense, but until some kind of substantial restitution was made to the New Eden Defense Fund.

Could we get a way to collapse the search area for the P&P window, to make it more compact? For the same reason, being able to hide columns would also be great
