Well…this was an interesting update. It might be ‘cleaner’, but it is significantly slower…especially if you have a stupid number of bookmarks in a system. By the way, if you do have a lot of bookmarks…the dropdown just fills the screen…and if anything drops off the bottom, you can’t access any of those unless you edit the hell out of the bookmarks, or have the People & Places box open.

If you are going to implement it like this, allow for essential locations to be added to the main right click menu…even if limiting it to 5. Most people have a couple of go-to spots for quick warp off…especially out of stations as mentioned.

Ah well, nice try, but clearly not field tested first with actual players.

The Tempest Fleet Issue changes are the old Hurricane Fleet Issue problem all over again.

People are less likely to buy a ship that does the same thing as T1, especially when it costs more. The fleet pest is only 5m/s faster than T1, which is negligible as far as distinguishing it from T1. The only advantage the fleet pest has is EHP/tank, which is really only useful in fleets. The issue is, there are a lot better options for fleet combat than a fleet pest with the same bonuses as T1 and a fatter EHP pool.

For things like doing a nano pest/fleet pest, the differences are very minor. Sure in a weird technicality, you could say “The fleet pest can go faster since it can fit 2 nanos”. Then, if you think about spending 300-400m on a Tempest FI to kite, why not just spend the same amount on a machariel and kite better (which is another issue with battleship balance atm)?

The minmatar battleship line-up is missing an affordable, accessible tracking bonused large projectile platform. The only projectile battleship with a projectile bonus is the Vargur, locked behind a 1.3b pricetag and is a magnet to being blobbed/dropped on.

If metrics show after this balance pass that the Tempest FI is still underutilized, please consider giving it a tracking bonus and a RoF (or damage, but might be too strong), just like you did with the Hurricane Fleet Issue. The Fleet cane is near perfect and has a niche, which is much better than it used to be trying to just be a T1 cane with a fatter tank.

Yep. The other ships will still be strong but bye-bye fun Dramiel fights.

2nd’d – The frigate had trouble winning duels even with the original speed buff, speed was all it had and it was still tough to fly.

For the rest of the stuff-
The bellicose weaponry buff is odd when it did need more fitting, the bookmark system seems OK so far, but…

That’s ok, the Muninn changes are the Ferox changes, all over again: A whole lot of ‘look, we nerfed it’, but really, it’s not going to effect a damned thing. It’s still a fair bit faster than its immediate competition, the Eagle, with a smaller sig and the ‘Volley == Deleted Enemy Ship, no time to turn on ADC’ of artillery.

CCP give back my Angel Cartel Bonus to Warp Speed and Warp Acceleration.

No explanations, give it back now.

The Dramiel is my favorite ship for long distance travel.

The waste of skills, money and time to prepare another fleet of ships to fit this role will be bonkers.

You guys will not launch a program to Buy Back my Dramiel fleet with “Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer II” Rigs, will you ?

@CCP_Lebowski Nice patch overall. I’d suggest drag/drop bookmark folders. I created a second base folder, could not drag a subfolder from the first base folder.

Dear SSPs!
A question of a simple player. What the hell did you touch the coordinates?! Who asked you? You were only asked to add Allied and Navy beeches so that the time for the appearance of coordinates for their own was faster. And this is ALL! What you have done is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY uncomfortable!
EVE is considered to be a complex game and very similar to Excel. You do everything to make it look even more like it! What for? The folder in the folder and the folder drives!
Example:
You have to fly 100 km from the dock to your beech (and here it is the first joint). Right-click in the middle of the screen and click on 1 “place” tab, 2 “coordinates” tab, 3 “coordinate possibilities” tab and 4 “distance selection” tab. This takes up half the screen. In order to get away from the spot when you are critically short of time and opening all these tabs you can die from enemies. The folder “places” prevents you from seeing if there is a spot in the location.
When you create a spot, you remove the words “Personal coordinates” and “Corporate coordinates”, replacing them with “player name” and “corporation name”. Why? Doesn’t a man know his nickname and the name of his corporation?
As for the transfer of beech to yourself and other players. It’s okay for yourself and your altoes, your system can be convenient, but not for passing on to other players! Each time you create a folder to give rights, etc.
You wrote that somebody tested it and said it was super. Show me these geniuses who are comfortable with it!
The game in EBE should be fun, people who come to play it after work want to rest, not to study a bunch of unnecessary tables. This is enough for them at work!

Can we please have a way of saleing/giving bookmarks to people without haveing to manage an acl every time we want to sale an escalation?

Honestly - what the hell? Why is it that you all need to keep “fixing” things that arent broken? When bookmarks are being used - its often in a rushed emergency panic situation - and now you have to navigate down through multiple levels of folders just to find something that used to just be a single click?

Can we PLEASE get the option to sort by # of jumps back?? My bookmarks are now USELESS:

Open the window and expand it to the right.
The jump column is still there.

Shared bookmarks is interesting and probably useful for many people, +1

Can’t think of any negatives right now. Don’t care about Munin. Stabber fleet issue… that’s just a bumping ship isn’t it? So, who cares. And autocannons… I’ll try them out I guess.

So… new corp members need to manually connect to the shared folder?

I was trying to see the game in positive light and sub for a month, see how it goes…
But here i am…
+Add some new triglavian grind fest.
+Change some stats on couple of spaceships.
+Make people open subfolders to reach bookmarks.
Call it a new update!

Please put personal in-system bookmarks back on the top level of the right click context menu. It was bad enough before from a usability standpoint; to bury them one or more levels deeper is atrocious.

And don’t suggest that I use People and Places for this purpose. It’s bad enough that I have to have fifteen windows open to play the game and can barely see what’s going on – don’t force me to add more.

Would it hurt to ‘hotkey’ up to 5 bookmark locations per system? Able to customize their warp to range and other aesthetics.
