Í gotta say CCP, the right-click menu really needs fixing !
My solution would be to first add the ability to pin or unpin folders from the root right-click menu with all folders pinned being the default, and second to have bookmarks still show up even when they are in subfolders.
For critical bookmarks like insta undocks it is a matter of seconds, and we simply can’t have all the insta bookmarks and all the perches in the root folder, sub folders should make things easier to organize but not by making them harder to access at the same time !
But the base concept of the shared bookmarks is awesome. Just fix these small issues and this will be an amazing patch.
Do you knnow how many bookmarks I have? Do you know what a GIANT PAIN IN THE ASS it is to have to dig down into a menu for these??? You know how much players rely on their BMs???
Why not have personal BM be available as they always have been and have corp and alliance BMs be down a step into the menu???

PS Love the way you’ve messed up the way BMs work but have made the effort to tell me who’s BMs they are. As if i am not already logged in as the toon mentioned. Why do i need to know…

По поводу бук могу сказать так. Сломали то что работало 15 лет и стало частью игрового процесса. Идея хорошая сделать корпоративные буки, но реализация как обычно через одно место.
No thats the thing 3x the BM does not = 3x better than what we had if we have to navigate down several layers to access our BMs.
Let me put it this way, by way of perspective I’m a 12 year veteran of the game…, you can take these ‘improvements’ and shelve them if you give me back right click bookmarks. Right click BMs are FAR MORE USEFUL than more BMs.

Corporations that didn’t have any locations saved previous to the migration don’t seem to have a shared folder created by default - this isn’t really a huge deal, but thought I’d point it out.
Except you don’t have to throwaway anything, there are (currently) ZERO consequences for picking a side. The only thing your choice affects is the loot table you end up with. No Faction Standings changes, no Sec Status changes, nothing, zip, nada, nicht.
Come on CCP make us work, give us a choice that actually means something.

the usecase is you need more as only 3 shared folders to spread your bookmarks to different groups of players!!! jesus bob whats your problem to understand this even player told it in the test threads about it?

if you create a system who is on its limits right away and you have to prefent system overload by resticting the users but they complain certain points even in the tests tell you in the testphase its not enough you implement it anyway???
maybee your aproach of the problem isnt the right way? maybee let the old system in place till you find a better perfom solution who is not on the edga of breaking down from the start?
oh and take your csm members wo allways defend your position of view in this cases with you and start lissen to the customers because it seems from them you dont get the right feedback you need^^

Thank you for the upgrade to bookmarks. Finally I can keep my characters’ bookmarks in sync much easier. I prefer to use the bookmarks from the people and places menu, sorted by number of jumps, activating them by the radial menu so I personally did not have an issue with the right click menu resorting.
One thing I saw that was confusing however was that people expect to see folders they have access to right away as opposed to the link sharing. Some people that create a shared folder think that the people in the access list automatically see it. I think there should be a method of searching for shared folders you have access to. For example, you can link a fleet but also we have fleet finder to search for fleets we have access to without having to wait for a link.
