Working through all my fits to see what changes to make, I’m now looking at a gas-fit losec Prospect. Anyone got any ideas what to do with three empty low slots? It used to carry four WCSs.

I said exactly this in another thread, and people shitposted me up and down over it. This change is going to wreck Indy movement of materials needed for ship construction (moving reactions out of low sec is the most glaring example). Advanced ship materials consume a large amount of cargo space, and DST’s were ideal for safely moving them in sufficient useable qty., being able to stack 6 WCS’s, in addition to the +2 bonus it got. Couple with the cloak changes (and cov ops isnt something a DST got to use anyway) BR’s will be hampered as well. They’ll both be goddamn paperweights. Blackout. 6 months of it, at least. Unmask, and spend your summer interacting in the RL again, instead of wasting any more time on this shitter of a game.

Hello CCP this update is not good is very bad i have 6 account i pay every mounth but this change is the same whits blackout and a lot people leave the game why take this decision and not annouce the player please CCP check again the update leave back the T3 ships and interceptor how is normal is not good the update you force me and possible a lot player and good player have long brake to play or leave the game

Sometimes I do not know why CCP bother asking for feedback when they either clearly do not listen or do not care about the feedback.

I cannot say much about the nullifier module, but to me it seems that the WCS has been nerfed into oblivion with its usability being very situational (and the up vs. down time of the module is ridiculous). Additionally , CCP has reduced the fitting choices (so what if you wanted to fill your low slots with WCS) and made the warp core strength all too predictable.

The main winners seem to be the attackers (gankers) – but it is not new that CCP favors this side.

CCP should have left the yacht alone – I think it was pretty ok the way it was.

Finally, I think it shows extremely poor judgement not to inform people when the update would go live as this will likely have left some people in a bad place without any chance to react.

Overall, I am not impressed at all, but this is what we are getting used to from CCP lately.

Maybe CCP should rather clean up the messes of the past (e.g. such as properly balance the Caldari EWAR ships) than create new messes for the future.

I think stopping DSTs and other ships from moving about with impunity and in near-perfect safety is a good thing.

Just for clarity and now that the changes are live, did the CSM know about this ahead of time? If so, what was their opinion? If not, what is their opinion now? The general consensus appears to be that many people feel that it was both too quickly implemented and ill focused.

@CCP_Dopamine @CCP_Aurora … something need to be done in the helios ship

that ship can’t fit Warp core stabilizer because will lose the only drone that can launch. SO neither can fit the nullifier module because only has two high slots for probe launcher and cloak module … so removing any of these modules will make the Helios useless for exploring.

it’s clear this game is going in a direction that doesn’t encourage me to log in.

time to find a new game.

What easy math this is going to be for all the 3rd world scum gate campers. You’ll know just how many points you’ll need to fit in your group before you ever undock. DST’s now have a hard cap of +4 warp core strength (+2 bonus, +2 on a single WCS), and they still can’t use a cov-ops cloak. Wonderful.

I can still fit 6 WCS’s on my occator, but I get an error message when trying to undock. Proof that CCP didn’t even bother rolling this out correctly.

Why so fast ?
What was the rush to deploy it now instead of the next big patch with Cloaking changes ?

Sooo… you basically rendered the DSTs useless. They now can have max 4+ warp core strength. So any fool with 2 scrams can tackle it. A +400mil isk ship just sitting there for no reason. CCP better either boost the amount of warp core strength on the stabz t2 or improve the bonus warp core strength on the DSTs. This is ridiculous. And what’s with the rushed time frame? So the time I invested in training for the DST is now basically worthless because a 1 day old toon in a frigate with 2 scrams can tackle and hold down my DST that I trained at least a month for lol… wow… way to do client retention
