shuttles are passively nullified now, and also you can’t fit modules on shuttle anyway
Alpha accounts will have nullification very easily

Cap use of the nullification modules is going to cause issues on some ships like covert ops.
Changes like this are why I didn’t renew multi-training and won’t renew alpha when it’s done.
This just looks like yet another screw new players in order to make griefers happy.
So provide some evidence. You can’t say it’s a community issue when there’s been very little evidence that it was a problem.
WCS needed a change. This isn’t the solution and if anything, it’s made the 1000% worthless as you can now only fit one.
Nullifcation is easily counted with SB’s especially with smaller ships.
It really feels like ccp are just doing stuff for the sake of it. They don’t fix the larger issues because, reasons.
Also, Why aren’t these modules available on SISI? Interdiction Nullifier I, no where to be see
yet another big blow on t1 haulers
At first I wasn’t sure, but the more I think about the changes the more I like them. Good hunter strategy will still work and clever use of the two new modules and the ships that can use them should make for more interesting options. Personally I think the cooldowns and penalties on both the new mods could be a bit less. But thats kinda it.
I agree with you but the squeaking wheel gets the lube.
There has been a certain someone who dedicates a ton of their time to writing blog posts and whining on twitter about WCSs. Not shocked… but I honestly would have thought that cloaky camping would have been looked at first. I still remember back in 2015 when they said they would address that and they never have.
CCP is on a hot streak right now screwing over the industrialist in this game and this is just another nerf. First scarcity, then industry/BPO changes, and now this. CCP wants to make sure that anyone building in this game has the literal hardest and most challenging gameplay possible so that lazy PVP pilots keep subscribing.
Why don’t all classes of Interceptor get the 50% reduction?
So basically killing one of the main reasons to commit to skilling into, learning to use and fit a T3C. The change to interceptors with burst jammers fitted I get, some updates to WCS is fair enough, even if this seems a bit heavy handed (maybe limit the ships they can be fitted to) but removing one of the most unique things for T3Cs, ships that are a genuine goal to work towards for a lot of people seems a bit daft.
For the WCS having a hard cap of one module takes away from the strategy. Either you have 3 points of stability or none. Ignore Ventures and DSTs with their current bonuses, we will see what becomes of them.
If you are going to hard cap this you should reduce faction scrams to two points of stability to at least force pilots to fit a scram and a point or double scram if they want to shut down mwd/mjd as well. One module fit will be able to stop any ship with no WCS and two would be required for stabilized ships.
A single module that can be fit to any ship with a mid slot and can completely prevent warping regardless of the other pilots setup seems overpowered.
Exactly! that was the only reason I spent so much time skilling into them. And just like everything else i skill into, as soon as i get there NERF
Never follow fotm, skill moderately and widely and let the buffs come to you.
wat?
The ability to be nullified? I know it doesn’t say it here, but if you look at the module on sisi… you can fit it to Industrials. For example, this Mammoth:
Because not all interceptors are currently bubble-immune.
Nullsec Gate campers are spoilt, as it is. Sitting at a camp and waiting for a stationary bubble to do all the work for them is almost entirely devoid of effort and imagination. They need some reflexes, but aside from that, nothing. Why is it that the one to evade has to do ALL the work, ALL the thinking, and take ALL the risk? That’s not in the least bit balanced. Nullification should be passive so long as large warp disruptors are.
Most of null is dead already anyway. What on earth is the point in closing it off even more? CCP would do better to remove stationary warp bubbles entirely. Interdiction should be the preserve of dictors. If more ships slip by, good! Why should gate campers and alliances feel secure? No one else gets to be. Why would anyone want to continue the current state of affairs, where large swathes of null are utterly desolate? Lowsec, and its cat and mouse games are actually much more exciting than null, and the lack of stationary bubbles is why. CCP needs to focus on what it got right in low, rather than double down on what it got wrong elsewhere. It also needs to spend a lot more time considering solo players.
As a t3 pilot who uses the nullification, this is just stupid, the t3’s have flown backwards, been nerfed, we players were screwed out of isk and having to rebuy subsystems and spend more isk on refits, after a major change, Do us a favor and ■■■■ off. As for wcs, Really? a game thats been out 2003 and you cant even listen to your player base to stop ■■■■■■■ ■■■■ up, back in 2010/11 it wasnt that bad but now changes are so damn new player friendly they end up with billions of isk and no knowledge of how to use it, citadels popping up all over the place in 2 or 1 man corporations, but nah the Interdiction nullifying agility of the t3’s is what’s wrong. I guess if i throw thousands of dollars at this game i should get w/e i want, didnt realise eve was so pay to win now. can practically day 1 skill your self into an orca, t2 combat ship. its pretty sad i spent years training my skills to find out injectors are worthless for me but new player damn they can skill rightup into most t2 stuff day 1. Pretty sad we are now breaking ships and not fixing the actual problem. Eve continues to decline. RIP EVE
Please stop punishing T3Cs. This change severely impacts solo hunting in Null/WHs.
I know that. But, since they’re losing that bonus, all Interceptors should get the reduction.
Stealth bombers and covert recons are the main threats here. T3s are way too expensive to be used as camping ships, and now stealth bombers can Just warp out of a bubble and run. Nullsec has never been more dangerous, especially to the main production forces of EvE: rorquals.
then something is off as t1 haulers was not in the ships that could mount it on dev blog
Love it !!!
Long overdue, and great change.
one thing:
should have lower cap use to be in line with other “restrained” modules.
Edit: Also, love all the salt in this thread. please remember, the silent majority is not on the forums screaming. that is just the loud few.
