Nullification and WCS Updates – testing has begun!

No gas harvesting drones. Slippery huffers will still function (even more so if the venture keeps that +2 stability boosted to +5 with a single WCS).

Nubbles

Just revert the nullification changes, moving it to a different slot doesn’t change that the idea is literally a dumpster fire currently being sprayed down with petrol while people use flamethrowers on the surrounding area, moving the fire doesn’t stop it from being a fire

Nullified T3C’s still nerfed.

Scan results nerf
Look range nerf
Loses a high slot

Please scrap this horrible idea and be done with it.

I’m still not a big fan of this whole thing (to put it mildly) but the latest changes make it close to bearable. I still think this is too much of a hit to T3Cs that have already taken a lot of hits so really hope that the stats and general kicks this gives these ships gets a proper review before roll out. As an expensive ship that already gets a fitting penalty, requires a lot of skills and a SP loss if killed that all really needs looking at.

I’m not seeing + 5 on a venture - The ship is baseline +2 and the WCS module while activated for 10 secs gives an additional quick +2 where are you seeing +5 ?

Why new nullification module don’t work under the cloak (not gate cloak)?

A previous patch on SISI was +3, a lot of people in this thread are working with outdated information it they haven’t read the updates before responding.

Tbh if you were mining in lowsec in a venture I doubt you contributed much to the game. All I have done in this game since day 1 is pvp for 5 years. I have seen a handful of dudes mining in ventures in lowsec. Lets not pretend like this was some expansive game play new bros and such utilized to make isk. The solution for this is get friends and you can mine lowsec easy. Most of the changes are targeted at removing most afk gameplay. If you want to be mad don’t be angry at CCP but the people who abuse botting and afk gameplay. Like seriously imagine being angry because the venture got “nerfed” the only thing I ever saw it used for to any large capacity was afk in lowsec fac war sites farming LP .

The claw wasn’t interdiction nullified before this change so I am unsure why you believe it’s tackle role has been negatively impacted by this change. It has seen no changes to its role. As a bonus, the claw can now choose to be interdiction nullified like the stiletto used to be if it sacrifices targeting range where, before, it could never be interdiction nullified.

The stiletto has seen changes. Looking at what is on SISI now, I believe the stiletto only sees a 10% (80% of 50% penalty due to role bonus) penalty for lock range, so on a similar fit to this it would see 60km to 56km if I’m reading the notes correctly.

It’s a valid point, Everyone has their own thing in the game , The ultimate contribution to Eve is to let people do what they enjoy most … and Subscribe of course

Use stiletto

Claw is combat interceptor not fleet

Would it be possible to get an extra high slot on the astero?

Astero is excluded from using this module for now.

@CCP_Dopamine @CCP_Paradox update OP please.

That is your opinion and your opinion alone.

If you do 100% good for you , rejoice. But there are a lot of people that also do Exploration (exploration was one of my first activities in EvE), some people like to mine, other like play market , mining. There are specialized people for eve activity.

The fact that in your opinion , some other players are not offering nothing to the game, es entarely subject, what is objective is that other aspects of the game are being considered more than other.

It is an absolutely disgrace that no one have raise concern about the problems of WCS and the unbalance that creates.

But you know what I get it. CCP is so desperate to try people do pvp that is using gankers as a mad dog to force people into pvp.

But people move the game in different paces, of you want people move to pvp why not offer s better progression like you do currently with exploration and pve. Not just kick in the ass to non pvp players.

That being said eve have the shitties progression to pvp that any other game. Every aspect of this game have a decent progression except pvp.

That brings up an interesting point to me. I joined for the pvp and moved onto other things from there. I haven’t done the npe in a while so I have to ask. Is it posable to introduce a better pvp npe experience?

Soooo…CCP…still waiting for you to add T3D’s to the list. They’re T3 ships…supposed to be about wormhole life, but then a bunch of people complained because they were too overpowered in PvP. They’re supposed to go up against sleepers, so of course they are. Nerfing or neglecting PvE ships and play styles because of PvP, as usual. It’s bad enough that they have bonuses for fitting launchers, but not actually using them, and have no bonuses to cloaks…

But now they can’t take advantage of these new changes, such as they are, despite the fact that bubbles are a common occurrence in wormholes. Why create a T3 ship, based on sleeper technology that is ill suited to wormholes?

Please:

  • Add them to the list of ships that can fit nullifiers
  • Add bonuses for scan probe strength and hacking, maybe even make a new scanning mode for it or just add it to defence mode
  • Bonuses to CPU for fitting cloaks, and a trait to the propulsion mode only that allows warping when cloaked

Then they will actually deserve to be called T3, and be fit for use in wormholes like they’re meant to be.

On another topic, why aren’t Recons getting nullified? What’s the point of a recon ship that can’t get behind enemy lines without help? They’re supposed to be big brother of covert ops frigs, but have always been rather less useful due to also having no bonuses to hacking and scanning strength.

I’m not a PVPer. I came to Eve to explore, mine and to learn how to produce. I accept that Eve is a dangerous place and I gladly consent to PVP when I undock, that’s the reason I love this game. I love this game because of the real danger that is at every corner, I love that I have to research on how I would need to make myself harder to catch and I love to find articles and start conversations on that subject. But what I’m getting from this is that you took away something that I researched and spent time watching videos and talking to people about to learn how to adapt to increasing my odds about not being ganked. It’s ok if I need to relearn another way of avoiding this but all I understand is that you took a module away and changed it’s behavior and it’s availability, for what? I’m not sure.

I’m not wanting to sound like I’m complaining cause I’m not, I’m just confused on why it feels like a tool was placed more on the favor for the pirates and gankers. Gates are bottlenecks in this universe and there is no where to go around that, that’s why I stopped playing with freighters, I hate the fact that I didn’t have enough tools to “feel” like I fought back. Maybe I don’t know enough yet about the mechanics for all things but from all my research that I have done, I have gathered that 1. no matter what ship you fly, it will get blown up no matter what 2. If a ganker is on a gate you are their prey with no way of avoiding it if you are a solo player without a big escort. I don’t want to pay for another account so that I have to “scout” ahead to make sure I’m safe. I would like to have the ability to either level up or be able to equip myself with the tools to have a better chance to survive longer. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game and I study hard as hell and watch lots of videos to learn about how improve my flying and chances of living but today from what I’ve been reading and watching, it feels like someone pulled a tool out of my toolbox. I hope more changes are made that will give all players the ability to fly safer if they wish to, whether it takes more time training for the ability to get to that level or the price of these modules be something expensive. At least something along these lines would give some players a goal that will be attainable to ensure that their survival chances would increase.

All in all I love this game for the community, the possibilities and the content that it creates. But I believe some changes can be looked at that help make this a more approachable game for the new folks coming in and those that set themselves to focus on other things aside from PVP. Cause right now it does feel like it is forcing me to do certain actions, and nobody likes to be forced.

“alleviate concerns around their previous use as a powerful means to escape.”

Proceeds to add every hauler to the list that can now be nullified…

None of this is about escaping, its about nerfing the hunting capabilities of certain set of ships.
Interceptors can still be used as travel fits… so can t3c…
What they cant ■■■■■■■ do is hunt effectively.

We all see it.
It is as clear as day.

Also if it now a module that fits in hs wtf does the nulli t3 sub do? allow you to fit one? And you say this is well thought out?
■■■■ me…

Holy crap… you changed the Stabs to +2 strength are you ppl really that blind? Now 1 scram will 100% of the time catch a stabbed ship. WHAT IS EVEN THE GOD DAMN POINT OF THE MODULE!

FFS CCP.

You really don’t play your own game do you? The stabs should of gotten more strength not less considering they are a limited time and constantly ruin your ships abilities to do basicly anything.

Any way that can easily 100% of the time catch someone is BS. It was BS when it was 3 as a faction scram or 2 modules could catch you 100% of the time, now with 2 you made it literally worthless.

So much for counter play… pathetic change by ppl who clearly don’t play the game.
