Passive nullification will be added to all shuttles.
That kind of takes care of that aspect.

So what are the traits for an interceptor going to be?
Seriously, this will kill that class of Hull.
But you will be able to do exactly the same thing grabbing shuttle.
Right until you run into a smartbomb camp. Or both sides of the gate are bubbled.
And so died the blops fleet. How the hell are you supposed to hunt when you have no way of moving through systems at speed.
Every ns krab system is going to bubbled on both sides of every gate. You have just handed every krab an extra 20-30 seconds to warp out of the site, and made it so that every system will be full of docked ships by the time the Hunter actually gets there.
This nullification change is literally THE.WORST.CHANGE.EVER!!!
In summary…REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Shuttles Online
I don’t understand why create this module.
For me the concept it’s ok, right now it’s too easy with nullifier.
But why create one module, in low slot. Right now you penalize the armor (layout with that). That will be not more interesting to put them in high slot. (we don’t penalize armor or shield tank).
You laugh but you know that there was a time when dictors got an aggro timer after dropping a bubble. People really loved this. So much so that CCP removed the feature shortly after because it was a stupid change. And now they repeat the same stupid thing.
Interceptors (and other ships that currently have passive nullification) will get a bonus that allows them to use the Interdiction nullfier module without significant penalties to their combat capabilities and to the duration.
So if you want to use a nullified ship in combat, you better use an interceptor or face the severe penalties for using a nullification module.
@CCP
Will the interdiction nullification module also have the -50 Mbit/sec that it currently has on the test server? I know and understand why this is added to the warp core stabilizer module, but I don’t see why this should be a thing for the nullification module.
It completely kills the purpose of an interdiction nullified drone Proteus.
CCP you got the title wrong, it should be “THE FAILED ESCAPE”.
I feel trolled.
From my noobish PoV this sounds like a nerf to interceptors and other stuff. I’ll keep reading.
I assume that the malediction info on the test server is incorrect, as it is still the current one (so it would be the only interceptor with nullification).
Are there any plans for how this will affect the subsystems with nullification of the T3 crusiers?
give me some of the glue you guys are sniffing
Should be a high slot, for sure. Let it compete with the cloak, cyno and weapons for a slot. The way it is on Sisi, BR can fit nullification, cyno and cloak at the same time. Make them choose which one to drop.
You can’t fit it to just any ship. Interceptors and SC are the only combat ships it can be fit to.
there used to be no nullification on ceptors and they were used a lot? I guess the Interception part? not safe nullsec travel?
So activating it before clicking warp, and not after clicking warp?
That’s is a good idea but with some critical problem that need to be solved before it rolls out.
The Shuttle with passive nullification is still no way compare to travel ceptor, it has basically non-existent ehp, die to three large smartbombs, and more importantly, it’s god damn slow in warp speed. 5AU is just pathetic, by comparison, a fully travel fit ceptor can have 12.2au warp speed, which is more than double for a normal shuttle. Shuttle needs some redesign with either warp speed bonus or extra rig slots, while ehp buff will be nice to have but not so critical as the warp speed problem.
The second things will be the nullifcation module for stealth bombers. It sounds like a very interesting gameplay/new content, but in reality it’s kind of too overpower for typical bomber fleets. It barely has any drawback to bombers while they can position on any spot at will. Bombers already have a significant role in fleet fights, buffing them again is no help for balancing the meta and it hinders the state of battleships. All in all, bombers shouldn’t be given nullifcation with little sacrifice and need more penalty for using this module.
You mean goons… or rather that entire nullbloc coalition your in… who lets be honest (and with few exceptions) have the average IQ of a dead rat… and you of all people should appreciate that people with an average iq or lower really shouldn’t be allowed to vote… well; that is to say if you expected them to understand what they were actually voting for lol
You cant at the moment either and personally I feel paying 40mil for a ceptor to do what you seem to think it does is far better than paying 6000isk for a ship you think does the same thing… at least in terms of paying for something useful.
BUT, as usual I think you will probably get a lot of flack on here because your one of the few CSM that will actually comment; so i will say thank you for that
im not really sure who is in the CSM anymore, completely lost interest in it.
Shuttles have no combat capability, they can’t survive smart bombs, they can’t carry any appreciable amount of cargo. They’ll become the main taxi ship, which is how things should have been from the beginning.
I agree the nullification thing should be a high slot.
This is not as heavy handed as I would have wanted.
I don’t think anyone was thinking: we want WCS to not last as long.
We were all thinking: I want these things removed.
Ever heard about smart bombs?
