The truth always comes out eventually.
Unfortunately, we capsuleers are not in the truth business, and we can get rather far away from it at times.
How is Goonswarms’s propaganda arm doing, by the way?

MiniTru? Well enough, I suppose. Couldn’t say for sure, that’s not my box, so as a general rule, I don’t deal with them.
I’ve never noticed you to be apprehensive about sticking your nose in boxes it does not belong.
Because she doesn’t, and she does have a hand in that department, just when it suits her.
Apprehensive? No, not at all. But there’s a bit of a difference between the internal workings of a well-run organization, and say, calling out an organization whose ‘fabricator-general’ can’t even think of his own job when he’s asked for examples of what he’s done as part of his org’s leadership.
And no, Aldrith, I have no involvement in MiniTru. That’s Paramemetic’s department. I run Doctrines & Fittings.
It is still a little amusing that you think I would ever consider a request from you about my duties to be worthwhile. As I’ve said before, people who matter, know.
It’s even funnier to watch you try to act like you weren’t flailing about defensively when you decided to try to make your response all about me, there. The people who matter confirmed your complete abdication of any semblance of doing your job long ago.
Well then, you should let someone know about all the representation of Goonswarm’s “will” you do here, such as its claims on Aridia and willingness to support Amarrian discontents for its own (or your personal) gain. At least get paid for your work!
Did you really feel a little more important that my response to you, was focused on you.
Perhaps you will add that to your list of accomplishments you wave about every time you feel like people aren’t taking you seriously instead of adding anything of value.
Wow. This just demonstrates exactly what I meant by the difference between PIE and a well-run organization.
First, nothing I say here goes through MiniTru, nor should it. Second: the Ministry of Truth has nothing to do with any claims on Aridia or any other parts of space. That would be the Corps Diplomatique. Third, any such statements I make here, I have run past the head of CD well in advance. She’s a wonderful person. Fourth: I get paid for my work. Mocking you? That’s all on my own time.
Frankly, Ascentior, nothing you say feels at all important. I’d put more weight behind something from Artril Thomas.
Oh, now we are just splitting hairs, here. No matter who, what and how you represent something, there it one core truth to your presence: you are manipulative. Be it for yourself, the Republic, Goonswarm, or whatever empty cause you choose to wiggle into next, you are no paragon of objective truth.
You are a spin artist that belongs on a cheap Gallente political network as a snarky talking head that pounces on the first dangling statement you can get your teeth around so you can further your goals through poorly executed polemics.
I was trying to give advice to my friend in her moment of reflection. You turned it into an opening to attack the way the Empire works. Why? Because you want to undermine it. You have an agenda, thank you for reminding us.
No, I was simply pointing out that the theologians you insist on letting doing your thinking for you will be relying… on the things you, and people like you, tell them. They won’t have all of the information any more than you will, and worse: most of them won’t have lived through the events. But whatever they decide—no matter how often it changes—will be declared what’s always been true. Because that’s what theologians do. Doesn’t matter where they are.
That’s not me attacking the way the Empire works. The Empire works the way it works. That’s me popping you across the face with a cold, wet trout and daring you to make up your own mind. Use the brain you think God gave you. If he didn’t want you to, you wouldn’t have it.
That is attacking the way the Empire works. We are a collectivist society. We consider matters communally and over the course of thought and discourse. I fully admit I have no idea what really happened there. I have my ideas, but will not present them as the only truth because I do not have that right or ability. Just like you cannot present yours, or Arsia cannot present hers as the truth.
But if there is an authority that can do that, it is the Theology Council. And they still seem to admit they are not sure either. So there. We can sit in our communal pot of ignorant guesses until they figure it out.
Which is just silly. And, again, no, that’s not a dis on the Empire. The Theology Council will, of course, make their determination on the official version of events. And that’ll be what generations of Amarr learn. But that shouldn’t stop people who lived through it all, who were even right there in space for large chunks of it, from forming the best, most informed picture of events that they can. What’s true doesn’t care what the Theology Council says.
What’s true is what the Theology Council says, or at least the closest thing possible to it.
If that were true, the Theology Council could never change its rulings, and you’d still officially not have a soul.
Look, you still clearly do not get it, so I will just leave it at that.
The statement that cloned capsuleers lack souls was never a Theology Council ruling.
It was a common belief propagated by many people, including many capsuleers, but it was never Amarr Orthodoxy.
By the way, her first death was at an undisclosed location, while she died in Safizon the second time. I was there, and saw her body in space. I cannot, however, recall if her body was recovered by one of the random capsuleers there or if it was destroyed, as human memories made under duress are often imperfect.
Meanwhile, your memory fails you even when a simple Galnet search can fix the holes in it.
Ms. Kernher, siding whe the enemy is the most shameful act any person can commit. There’s literally nothing could be more shameful than that.
And I mean that, I’d more likely dance on the table naked, and then sleep with whole platoon of Brutors who are loyal to Federation, record it all on camera and spread it for making profit that I will waste on recreational drugs and alcohol - rather than commit a treason. Because treason is really way more shameful than all that.
