Im pretty shure it used to work this way but maybe im wrong… Maybe they broke that with the last ui update?
It is kind of stupid but its free so who cares.
The applying immediately is annoying, but also in this case 3% falloff is absolutely useless for my character as well. Which wouldn’t be a problem if I could trade it, but alas I cannot. So I’ll either waste it redeeming it to get it to go away, or it’ll sit there until it expires.

Or they want to transfer them to a character that actually has a use for them. What does my mining alt need a missile explosion velocity bonus for? My missionrunner could use that. Too bad they’re on different accounts.
Or they hadn’t planned on doing any PvP for the moment, because they’re busy doing something else. The sig radius reduction is sure going to be handy on the Orca. Use it or lose it.
Or yes, indeed, they want to put it on the market. Why not? Everything else, including these very boosters, are already there. Why shouldn’t these be sellable?

Free t1 frig bpcs today - i like that much better then yesterdays reward despite the fact that i own 10/20 bpos for every frigate. Still useless but not insultingly so.

A bit of a bads news about the new SP system :
Best case scenario : 150 000 / 6500 = 25 days
Worst case scenario : 150 000 / 4500 = 33 +1/3 days
I don’t know if it is the plan , but logging each day during almost one month to get this
and perhaps if this SP event stops while the bar is not fullfilled you’ll get nothing .
One way or the other, this new SP reward sucks .
well redeemed 5 boosters … they were running for 20 mins and then they were gone … total unused bonuses … i was not even undocking in that time …
this is not usefull from my view …
can you explain the thoughts behind the auto apply when redeeming funktion?

Well, I guess that means that these daily rewards are going to be sticking around for a while then. I can get behind that. I mean, the rewards have sucked so far, but maybe there might be some good ones sprinkled in down the line. Moreover, I won’t complain about 150k free unallocated SP a month. It’s nothing crazy, but it’s the same amount that I would get from a large skill injector for my 4 highest skill toons. So, just counting those characters, that’s about 3 bil in unallocated SP a month just for showing up.

is it possible to code these boosters then to be relevant to a pilots given skills? I logged in on an alt earlier and it was given a missile precision booster. My alt has never trained ANYTHING missile related, it has no missile ships, it has no missile anything. The auto applied booster was an absolute waste of everything.
So yeah code them into relevance per pilot or delete the auto apply function. Otherwise I guess keep spending employee time and whatnot wasting time for nothing because boosters for untrained skills is exactly that - nothing
