If it were my call alpha accounts would have a 30 day trial period and then get the boot if they don’t subscribe.

I find your “hate” to be rather simple minded. When you’re being honest then any Omega can play for free after a few months of skilling up and grinding for PLEX, at which point there is no longer a major difference between the two - both get to play for free. The only difference between Alpha and Omega is then that an Alpha has to grind more at the beginning to get to the same state. Anyone who then chooses to still play as an Alpha and for a long time, well, I’d say they’re making a mistake, but it’s really their decision.

From this perspective I’d say is an Alpha account for players who simply don’t want to commit much to EVE, but still participate in it. And so I’d rather have them playing for free then not having them at all. No hating required.

I’m trying to learn all the skills needed to unlock “Orca” but i can’t learn some skills without Omega status, i have the requirements, Are there any way to inject and learn the skills without Omega stauts?

Hmm, when I started EvE, I didn’t know what an Orca is… At that point I’ve just read about Titans and that it takes more than a year to skill them - sounded like a legit aim for me at that time

So even if you go Omega, it takes months to skill an Orca. Or you invest into skill injectors, but these are expensive. So please tell us if you fly an Orca by december, until then you will lose some Ventures and Retrievers to Code and find out when Ice belts are best to be found neglected and where you can sell ore and minerals the easiest way.
The Orca should not be your first skilling goal, you won’t enjoy being not prepared.

And btw, I tried EVE as an Alpha for 3 Weeks before subscribing. That’s perfectly normal. If you’re going Omega, try the Buddy service.
