You get whatever STT gives you and you’ll like it

Actually no…you simply reminded me of that episode of Star Trek where some great and mighty seeming creatures turned out to be little inch high things. Tell me…has your entire fleet ever been accidentally eaten by a passing dog ?

That’s the weirdest thing to ask someone on a forum.

I came up with it, those are two examples of what the LP store would be like if there were any standing limitations on what could be bought, but there is none, nor there are any limitations on what can be used after it is bought from the market - someone with supposedly “higher” standings can buy items from the LP store and sell it to someone who has negative standing who can use them for as long as they have the skills for them trained!!

So all in all there is no connection between the standings of the character with a corporation and what that character can buy or use from the LP store of that corporation!

The only connection between the two is the speed with which one can acquire the LPs, lower standings only allow access to lower level agents, which you mentioned later in one of your replies AND the access to an epic arc agent!
…And if you have negative standing with a Corp, all you’ll be able to access is Level 1 Agents and with the amount of LP’s they give out, it’ll take quite a long time before you’ll have enough LP’s to actually redeem an item…
Except, that last part is half-true. I recently tanked on this char the standings of one of the corps by refusing to complete one of the story-line missions that I wrongly assumed was L1 when it was L4. That dropped the base standings by 3.179 points, so L3 and L4 agents became unavailable, and yet I could still use all the LPs I had accumulated up to this point!

which is why this is the only game where the standings with a corp/faction can drop, any other MMO I have played they always go UP and never DOWN!

Not to dodge your point but EVE Online is a business simulator.

This stuff. All of this what OP just described is what limits people from multiboxing more characters and CCP knows this.

If you can’t handle the extra work that comes with multiboxing then have less accounts in my pov.

Clearly there are people who can manage 10,15,20+ accounts and all the paperwork and clicking that comes with it. They sign up for that when they want to manage that many accounts and characters.

Uhm, Anthony, do you know you are replying to OP?
He’s the one trying to come up with ideas to curb multiboxing.

Even for a single account with 3 chars in the best case scenario when they all use the same stations and do the same activities which would reflect the items they collect mostly from loot - that would free 66% of the space as the game now has to keep track for only one stack for each item at any station while before it had to keep track for three separate stacks at each station!

The more accounts a player has the more the freed space is going to be - I have two so that would mean 84%!

That’s the best case though, in reality - people use different chars for different activities and that would reflect on the type of the loot and the stations they use so the saved space for them might be lower! In any case the database would use less work for organizing, maintaining and retrieving the data!

considering there is a limit to how much can be stored in a station, without having to use containers. no.

Its not a belief though, thats the thing, and the people who give an F are CCP :stuck_out_tongue:

No, his idea being bad makes it bad, too exploitable to be worth the tradeoff when corporations cost 1mil to make and for the majority of scenarios fill the exact need the OP wants, they just take some actual effort compared to the no effort the OP currently seems to want

Same old bad arguments. Exploitable blah blah…

Again, same old arguments “lazy” “devs time” blah blah…

You people have spent too much time pushing people away with your old bs arguments.
You need new ones and you need to get out from under that groove that make you guys reject everything that you didn’t come up with.
You’ve been using the same BS arguments for years now!

So you are OK with the game storing separate set of data for each character, which means at least 3, and doing all the work to manipulate them but not OK if the are all merged into one?!?

Makes no sense.
