Online player count drop

That might be on the road map, but I think WIS is more likely.

Right now they’re pushing fashion and skins. Whale bait. But with no lobby to show off your limited edition mini skirt, corset, and stilettos combo, it won’t pan out. You can’t attract whales if they can’t display their stuff. And one whale is worth hundreds of us regular folks.

I’d be very surprised if they’re not coding WIS 2 right now. Once that’s done they can drop that lotto thing and start selling chips for use in player owned casinos. Spend your chips while strutting the promenade in your thousand dollar jeans.

Lol. The development team is, like, very challenged by things like the red dot. What are the chances that they could ever release WIS 2?

The reason your seeing an influx in players is a lot of people don’t understand or take the time to listen to why the game is structured the way it is players start playing and quickly run into confusion and adversity resulting in them leaving the game. It’s just part of the flow of the game some people just won’t be interested in the way eve is structured being a sandbox game.

No denying that. The EVE development team.

Here’s the thing. Pearl Abyss has some very talented teams they can tap for a project like WIS. And probably already have, in my opinion.

I guess we’ll know soon enough. Because at the rate they’re running specials these days, it’s fairly obvious they are hurting for income.

Cloaky campers paid for omega accounts. Who would have thought?

Games broken, can’t sell stuff no one is buying. The big war has stalled, and the battleship has taken a hammering, for the lvl4 mission runner in high-sec it’s a disaster a complete disaster. All CCP want to do, is sell us useless packs. Yeah, not logging in for that crap.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with that statement.

I wonder if decline in the use of AFK cloaking all day has also contributed disproportionately to the normal summer slump + reopening.

I love to point out the low numbers these past years, but give up during summer. These past two years were so weird for the planet that I can’t even venture (get it?) a guess what numbers we will have come Sept. I’m stuck so I will have to wait and see…

Do you think it’s at all related?
To be fair though, I think Elite Odyssey had something to do with it too. It’s probably a combination of several factors.

They have to learn there are consequences to their PvP against the players.

That’s exactly what CCP has been engaged in for the past 5 years, PvP against their players. PAccP versus Players.
I’ve been gaming since 1994 and CCP is the first gaming company I know of ( there may be others I’m not aware of ) that directly acts against its players’ interests in game.

Numbers are getting low, if this keeps up its going to cause real problems. Not sure the economy will bounce back from all the nerfs. I know I’m having real trouble selling mission salvage, even though I reprocess most of it, still sell the tags and the stuff that does not reprocess. Stuffs not selling, markets taking one hell of a battering in my area of space.

Stop salvaging all that trash.

If this continues i’m going to stop mission running period. Then i’ll just stop playing at that point and move on to something else. I’m completely disilusioned with CCP at the moment. The game is trashed.

Good. CCP doesn’t deserve it.

It looks like im not the only one that stopped playing and canceled my sub; really just came to check the forums because I kinda miss playing EVE but CCP and their ■■■■ changes keep coming non stop… so its like why bother… hopefully CCP take notice and try to fix these waves of trash changes; unless the desired outcome is to make people not want to play anymore… in that case great job!

I also canceled my subs but still playing as Alpha. If you miss EVE that much why not play as Alpha?

Because it is totally not the same thing.

An intersting concept I hadn’t thought of. If a steady 6 month nosedive in PCU is based on bot and cloaker cleanup then that in itself is astounding.
