In order to move off the course we are on now CCP needs to stop listening to the CSM. Just because some players win a popularity contest does not translate them into game designers. Listening to this focus group is causing more damage than good.

You may be right, indeed. But I don’t think it’s the CSM as a group that’s doing damage. I think it’s some members of CSM taking advantage of their position and influencing to their benefits but it may just be a small part of the problem.
I think the biggest part of the problem is CCP’s greed and arrogance.

Absolutely. CSM doesn’t represent the players anymore and many of them are just in to influence for themselves and their buddies.
Then I don’t like that certain members of CSM are buddy-buddy with ganking groups and whatnot. Too much room for abuse.
I also think CSM members shouldn’t be allowed to play EVE while on the CSM. Look at Brisc, budd-buddy with Aiko. Don’t tell me he isn’t influencing in her favor.
The whole CSM is a farce! They all need to be disbanded and CCP should stop playing homeless beggars and give us real CCP-employed CSM members who don’t have stakes in the game, who are completely neutral.
