I think reasonable people can judge you by what you say.
It’s not hard to see who is being toxic here.
Good luck with all that.

Dunno, I kinda disagree a bit… although I don’t think I’ve ever “misbehaved” here, I think it’s a bit too much to attempt any balance between unknown societies, geography or ways of life. But It’s a plausible effort anyways.
I come from where there’s a time of the year that everyone agrees to take everything as it is and no one can react in anger to mockery or even disrespect (in todays standards).
Which thickens our back’s skin. Calluses grow all over us, so we accept ourselves as a group. We gain an underlying identity that goes beyond recognition.
The carnival season in the Caribbean is just that. It is a fundamental part of the fact that we cannot engage in society without accepting each other… it’s a time when we are free to express. But it also is, and more importantly, the reason why we don’t care about stupid. We see seldom of insults in mockery and laugh at each other out of misunderstandings.
It makes us happy in many ways.
Maybe because by working it out constantly, we finally understood that there would never be a more negative intention that the one we can carry in our ears and far from the words anyone can say.
Somehow I suspect that our friendships last longer because of it… but I might be just wrong.
I’ve been in countless in-game channels with you over the years and talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
*Including local.
Am I wrong for liking the meaningless drama?
Waking up brushing my teeth logging in to see who is mad at who for what?
I’m sorry guys I truly am but that meaningless tomfoolery that banter is what makes the eve forums a genuine experience for me.
I’m sure the old bitter vets would tell you what we see today is tame in comparison to what was out there once.
So just breath it in with your coffee.
I love your post !
Liking (and laughing at it), no, I think most people get a good giggle out of all this, probably many people who never even post here read these and have their entertainment out of it.
I think the point would be more to restrict the drama to specific sections that are actually somewhat meant for it (like C&P) while other sections should be more clear, restrained and on topic.
No, there’s nothing wrong with that. That’s also not what we are talking about. This conversation is about something other than meaningless drama. For example, with regard to racist comments, I would hope we could all agree that it’s just not appropriate… but obviously there’s a couple people here who don’t agree. Those sorts of comments are actually not part of the game, and they are not meaningless. They have no place in the forums, or in society at all. James and I try to maintain a level of civil decorum, and we encourage others to do likewise.
James is dead and gone and you’re a hypocrite.
…and that is a personal attack; vicious, spiteful and uncalled for. You may argue that a person’s argument or comment appears to lack sincerity, but out-and-out calling them a hypocrite is in poor taste.
Talking to the mirror again, aiky?
Mr Epeen
It’s not based on ONE comment.
It’s based on years of observation and interaction.
Cry more, please.
You haven’t played the game long enough to support such conclusions.
As a new player, I suggest you take some time to feel your way around the game, and get to know members of the community. Maybe try the Sisters of Eve Arc, and just give it some time. EvE University would be perfect for you.
Have fun capsuleer, o7
That’s what you’re going with?
Lame.
Mr Epeen
I’m just pointing out that a new player, with only 2 months in the game, is obviously exaggerating when they claim to have years of experience.
Hey, @Smarter_ThanU, if that’s ‘The Blood-Stained Stars’, I can help you with Dagon. Just hit me up in-game. Bring your Venture!
One trick pony.
All I hear is slurp, slurp, slurp.
Mr Epeen
Entertain us. Log in with the character who has spent years observing and interacting with Aiko. If you interacted with her, there should be some record, no?
Respond in this thread, and let us scrutinise your comment and determine its veracity - or lack thereof.
Waiting…
I promise that, from now on - and for this thread only (should it survive) - I will stick doggedly to the topic and not be lured off on a tangent by well-meaning but misguided others.
Let’s see how long that lasts…
