Okay, it’s possible he’s AFK, my point is we can’t be sure. But what is the issue with someone in some anomaly afk? There are about 20k players online, I maybe interact with 100 max on a daily basis? Even if 10k is sitting somewhere AFK it doesn’t bother me, it gives me an advantage to wreck drones, share ore/ice from under his nose and generally make an advantage. It’s up to the other player to adapt or cut his losses. Either way, It is certainly not up to me to decide how someone else spends their time and money ingame. It’s not that that player is hired by you to entertain you.

I realise my mistake now. I allowed myself to get dragged into this foolish argument of whether or not he is definetly afk.
The fact is, it doesn’t matter. He has exactly 20 orcas, enough to put 1 on each roid. Meaning after 2 or so hours he finishes the anomaly. This can be done totally afk. I’m not going to waste any more time with this argument about if he is definetly afk or not.

To be honest the description given clearly says that the orca is a platform for managing mining operations. Nowhere does it say it is a mining ship.

However It matters that you can make much money by being AFK.
pointing someone is not a good way to do so, especially if you don’t know whether he is afk or not. The best thing in that case, is either to ask him politely (typically by asking something else, in a newbro omega venture) ; OR to do it yourself, and give us your experience.

LIKE THE CARRIER people used it to Haul ccp made it so but changed there minds due to freighters and Haulers. You do know Hillmar changed his mind from “Mining is like zen” to “You should take your medication”.
He’s trying anything to bring in new players. Also I think a porpoise would be better suited for high and low sec but I guess in the end it’s the players beinginformed by other players to ‘orca it up’.
Go and read the three pillars of mining command ships I posted above. It is a miner. CCP made that image. CCP have said it is a miner.

Perhaps you should read above. You need 80 mackinkaws to afk mine out the same anomaly, to the 20 orcas. The mackinkaws cost significantly more, especially when you consider plex costs and running all those accounts. And if you factor in how much you’re going to get ganked, it’s virtually certain you’ll be losing more isk than you make.
The pilot in question has admitted to being AFK.
As he’s primarily an ice miner, he doesn’t have to worry about Trigs.
How about they boost mining barges?
