Overall gameplay Issues

Thank you for that! Never heard of that argument before.

the evidence is that eve doesnt have more than 15k average players and we are trying to figure out why with rational points

if someone is thinking emotionally, thats you bud. as i stated multiple times, i like the game, but there is a lack of content throughout many aspects of the game, which could be improved so more people can enjoy it, besides old veterans. but somehow, thats a thought u cant or dont want to wrap your head around.

there is a point to be made to atleast get them to lvl4 so you can somewhat decently fly them, which can be done by using the 1m gifted SP at the start.

Or you just need to leave your corps to get a better grasp

You can fly without training them. You wanna get in a ship and at least be able to use it. Then concentrate on making it better

uhm, no. i wasnt surprised at all. my point was how empty null is, when it shouldnt.
also that its just very boring to get blopped like this when you go out of your way to invade enemy space for some fun, which idk is prob an alien like thought to you, given how you react and interpret what i said.

read what you wrote.

if folk are losing two Ishtars a day, they’re rapidly going backwards. Coming away with 60m for four hours of krabbing (your numbers) isn’t going to keep people out ratting now is it?

Way back earlier in this thread, I posted my concept of a change to local chat that might not just lead to people not logging in.

i dont like nullsec corps, i dont like the thought of making myself an alt just to be ready for homedefense, effectivly limiting me to a small area in null

my corp is nice, i can explore if i want, dont have any responsibility (its a game) and when enough people are around we do fun stuff. what can a nullsec corp offer besides limitations?

if i want a bigger fleet, there are plenty of public fleets like bombers bar, so why even bother joining a nullsec corp, which will then ontop of it also force me to skill into doctrines, so i can be a f1 monkey if fc tells me to? i dont understand whats supposed to be fun about being a virtual mindless soldier following orders is, is my point here.

well yes, if they would always just lose them. but then i also talked about a different aspect which included defending main systems, in which they prob would be perfectly safe, but not for ā€œfreeā€. which could lead to some fights outside of the main systems, sometimes maybe inside and would also make economy wars a much more reliable strat, leading to eventually corps going down, stopping a static universe in which you actually have to ā€œfightā€ for your place. overall more dynamic because people simply couldnt afk.

i recommend you do a ded site in a t3 in lowsec, then u ll prob realize why thats content, espacially if you have friends around, it creates opportunitys.

I’ll bite (again), the example is being able to create yourself a fun and diverse game experience over a longer period of time. As your recurring complains after only 10 weeks (!) clearly show, you fail at that, as your approach to EvE is too narrow minded.

you are again making assumptions which have no base.
i am pointing out gameplay mechanics, you are talking about goals.
you continue to act like i am attacking the generall idea of EVE which is to do WHATEVER you want. which as i mentioned in this thread, i think is very nice.
i simply pointed out in which ways the gameplay prevents player interaction, when it doesnt need to.
so, again, this entire thread is to make MORE content between players possible, i want more chaos in eve, its to tame, basically.

No assumptions, it’s based on your initial posts. However I acknowledge that over the course of the days you adapted and delved into discussing the eternal forum’s common places about boring nullsec, missing conflict drivers, etc. Welcome to the loop.

Though the chances of changing human nature is minuscule, hence I would invest more energy into adapting ones own playstyle after 10 weeks of playing, if you are not happy with it … you act like you already hit the ā€œbittervet wallā€, which is implausible for all the mentioned reasons.

dont recall saying anything about joining a nullsec corp…

Yes I did. I can’t help your English comprehension problems. I actually devoted most of my early skills to mining and trading. See, that’s how I became a billionaire and Paladins are now mere pocket money

What evidence ? Where ? Provide it.

Bah…no…someone who whines at every available opportunity and is making constant comparisons to Tekken and other games clearly is not ā€˜enjoying the game’.

Can I have all your stuff ?

31k as of right now

I think it’s the exact phraseā€¦ā€˜poisoning the well’…that some have been looking for. It is sort of similar to ā€˜dog in a manger’…which also describes someone who is not having a great time and is thus determined that nobody else will.

Once you are aware of poisoning the well as a real thing…you can look at all the threads in a new light and see just who is up to it.

When your mindless F1 monkey gets targeted by 40 enemy mindless F1 monkeys all at the same time and vapourised because not even logi could cope…then you realise the power of mindless F1 monkeys

And what’s not to enjoy about simply being part of a victory ? Who cares who’s F1 monkey or whatever.

Good luck taking on the nullsec blocs solo…I think Destiny already tried that.

A lot of players want to grind in EvE, and also a lot like ā€œF1 monkeyā€ to relax. I’m also happy if somebody else does FC, scouting and logi after a long work day. FCing a fleet is magnitudes harder than cruising around solo.
