This might exist and if so, I’d love to know where to get it or how to implement it. Could someone make a 1x1 phone widget with EVE server time? I have a browser tab to check, because I just don’t have it memorized yet despite trying, and the DST non-adjustment throws me every time.
That helps when on my computer, but that’s not the trouble; I like to be able to plan my day when I’m out and about and checking my pings when deciding whether to do that extra time consuming errand that can wait a few days.
Not sure what the problem is exactly. It is different for different phones if and how to set a second time to display if that is even what you are asking.
Whatever the method is you know the exact time zone EVE / the servers operate under.
You can set calendar events for that time zone (again might differ how depending on phone and apps used).
Not exactly sure what you ask for specifically.
The EVE time is just the same as GMT London when not in BST.
You can just add a timezone to your clock and disable daylight savings for that timezone
edit: https://greenwichmeantime.com/countries/
A list of countries which do not have a daylight savings; the GMT (without the +1 hour) ones will be what you want.
As for the widget; Check app stores for a third party time widget, if samsung, check the samsung store as well, you will find widgets in the “personalisation/themes” app.
For apple… ehh, figure it out
Welp, after looking I have such a widget but all the widgets that I can show an international time zone take up a huge amount of screen real estate, so a 1x1 widget would still be nice.
Android? Use a different launcher app with customizable widget sizes. Windows Phone launchers allow you to reduce the size of the click tile down to the size of a stock Android launcher app size, for instance.
But the servers are in London though and thus EVE uses that time zone.
Tranquility is located in London, and is therefore near the international prime meridian that helps to define Coordinated Universal Time (“UTC”) and so, in turn, EVE Server Time.
I know 7am for me, is 11am there and that’s when DT is
Oh just checked apparently it is within the same time zone.
Just use UTC. London has summer time (BST = UTC+1), but Reykjavik has UTC year round.
