Player exit. Can't Play anymore

I just want to say thank you and say goodbye.
I’ve been playing since 2005.
But I got injured and became a wheelchair user in 2017 when I got a brain injury. This means that I’m not fast enough for PVP. I’ve tried to come back, but 0.0 is going too fast. I can’t keep up with Lowsek either. And Highsek has been overrun with pirates, and you can’t do anything without being attacked.
I would love a single player version of the game, but I know that it requires NPCs to help make the market work, and there’s no money in making those algorithms. And I could 10 years ago, but not anymore.
At the same time, I know that it’s not financially viable with single player games, even if you can expand with DLC, it will never give the same as with a monthly payment for a multiplayer game. So no, I know it’s not going to happen.

But that’s why you can wish for this, even if you know it will never happen.
But EVE singleplayer would be my biggest dream, after I have to give up playing multiplayer because of my slow brain and the brain damage is not getting better I get frustrated and sad that I can’t play like before.

Fly safe. Play safe.
Love my time with you.
Take good care of each other and EVE Online.

If you’re looking for single player EVE, Elite Dangerous and X4 are that way :point_right:

I’ve tried X4, but I’m having trouble finding my way around the functions and buttons.

Sorry to hear about your injuries. You might want to give a look to threads like the following for single-player “Eve-like” games:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/smeh5e/evelike_singleplayer_games/

Not sure if the Homefront games are listed in that thread but they’re also worth a look. And there’s No Man’s Sky to try as well.

Good luck, hope you find something fun and interesting to play!

Sorry that you are having to leave the game. I empathise with you about your disability. I am disabled myself and fear this happening to me as well. I wish you the best of luck going into the future and hope that you can return one day.

Always sad news to hear another player leaving the game…

Wish you the best of luck and hope you eventually decide to come back to New Eden…

Another game I recall, fairly good space game on it’s own, had a mod to make it EVE-like:

No idea if they’re up to date or still working, but might be worth a look.

true, but this is moreless a location based scenario, sure idiots are eveywhere, but just like IRL there are some quiet places in the game where eveyone knows eveyone … suburbia Eve so to speak  if you like to move to a more quet place, let me know, happy to help.

If you really love Eve and want to keep playing, there is an option. Eve Rookies. We have players across all abilities, even players who have to use assistive devices that make them a little slower and less coordinated than other players. But that doesn’t matter to us.

Inclusivity is one of our core values and we live and breath it. There’s a place for everyone in Eve.

I heard ganking is really easy. You can just lazy AFK gank a couple freighters and get twenty billion to PLEX. Easy, only takes a couple minutes.

Plus you can get the added bonus of being able to brag about what a big bad PVP’er you are in EVE to anyone that will listen…

Yep, ganking new players in High Sec is such a thrill… /Sarcasm

You could always do something station based like ship building/invention/research or my favourite - scamming

Was talking with some folks about game design thingies today, and this game was mentioned:
https://astroximperium.com/

Seems to have pretty good ratings and was made to scratch that EVE/Homefront/space itch.

Lost interest right about here " I wanted a single player, "

So, someone made a Candy Crush, offline version of EVE, where you can adjust the parameters to where you are never attacked. At that point, why even bother playing?

I guess some folks have nothing better to do with their time than habitually b1tch and snipe about everything. Perhaps if you actually read the OP you’d have a notion why single-player EVE-like games are being referred to here.

Not everything in the world is about your own preferences.

ooooor you can simply continue to play the forum!
You know as better than I do, there’s a section where very knowledgeable people debate technical issues concerning the game, and then a section of role-players who manage to immerse you in a fantastic and plausible universe.
And also a ludic section where people joke about silly and sometimes less silly things, propose good music and interesting videos…

Actually it is, my preference is all that matters. Everything else, such as yourself is irrelevant. You clearly have not studied astronomy and religion , otherwise you would know that the world and the entire EVE universe revolve around Zaera
