I live in High Sec and have never so much as been target locked by a Trig.
We have to remember that people don’t like to lose their ships in EVE and a certain type of person will always always demand that whatever killed them and made their precious ship explode be removed from the game, be it gankers or Trigs or whatever.

I lost several ships in HS. 3 times by trigs that become red after being white.
I met roaming red fleets like tens of times.
In some part of space they can’t spawn (metropolis, derelik IIRC)
Just today there was 20 kills.
Its like they were never supposed to be white or something. Must have been hack job with these agression mechanics.
To cheer you up I can say they work pretty well being red consistently, like when you have very negative standings with them. Never seen them being white.

Because you affirm something does not exist without a proof, and I tell you it exists with experience, which is enough to debunk your affirmation.
Your lack of experience is totally valid as long as it’s not a generalization. As I wrote it’s totally possible to never encouter them depending on where you play. But your personal experience does not allow you to make a generalization.

You can’t say the Trig threat is not greatly exaggerated (topic) based on your personal experience.
It either is greatly exaggerated or it isn’t, one of us is correct, but neither of us can prove otherwise with our personal experience alone.
Still, for me, and for the other guy, and I’m sure for hundreds of others who have suffered no loss at their hands, it certainly feels greatly exaggerated. Essentially it is greatly exaggerated in the EVE that we play, because it has made no difference to us, which is something you can’t actually debunk.

Another “EVE is too hard for someone problem”. Deal with it, figure it out like I did or quit. I’ll help them learn the game but it’s not up to me to waste my gaming time teaching people English. Instead come here and make demands that CCP change something else again to make things easier…
For majority it will be too late. You will not even have to share some helpful link with majority. These people will be gone and it will save you a lot of headache and they will save money on something more enjoyable. Win, win.

This game doesn’t need teachers, it needs devs who understand what a SANDBOX actually is and it needs to work first, it needs technicians to insure proper connectivity so it doesn’t freeze, stutter every 5 seconds and cut out of connection.
Unless they own the entire internet that won’t even be within their control, your traffic can cross multiple networks to reach its destination, i’m not sure how you think the internet works but the best coders in the world can’t fix internet connectivity issues or round trip times
