Hey everyone! Excited to talk spaceships with you all!
To introduce myself and my history in Eve:
I first started playing Eve back in 2006 when I was 15 years old (Katalya became my ‘main’ later on, but was not my first character). I began my career in a highsec corp, I spent time mining in a navitas and had my first taste of war as a self-proclaimed “E-WAR specialist” even though I didn’t know what sensor damps actually did at the time. From there I moved on to do industry in the dronelands, lead my first fleets during the fountain war (sorry Test) and - as my skills improved - went on to teach classes, run new player services and organize various special interest groups for Brave Collective. In 2018 I had the honor of leading Brave’s Alliance Tournament team to… well a couple wins at least.
I’m still actively flying and I look forward to seeing you all in space both during work and during my free time.
Excited to be here! You’ll all be hearing quite a lot from me in the near future, so thank you for the warm welcomes.

Hello and welcome! Nice to see a new face. Hope things work out well for you!
If there’s anything I could wish for from a new outreach person, it would be find a way to pull and condense some of the hot topics in player discussions. Perhaps get some volunteers to yank the 10 relevant/decent posts out of a hot thread while ignoring the 278 posts that are simply “You suck! No YOU!” sniping, and streamline those ideas into something that can be presented to designers or a player council that is perhaps less Null oriented than the CSM.
If CCP has stuggled with anything over the last 10 years, IMO, it’s been understanding why their player base actually plays and designing the game to make it more engaging for those reasons/motives. Since you come from a player background you should hopefully be able to help them with that.
Be brave, push beyond the corporate status quo, fly interestingly, and best of luck with it!

People are hilariously opposed to this somehow. Always telling people to “harden the ■■■■ up” but then have a public tantrum when someone they don’t like (aka anyone playing differently) has something to contribute to the community.
