There are pilots who are locked up with Omega for many months.
What’s to say that the price of plex drops under 5 again in 4 months?
We can keep adding more Omega time to the Pilot or we can hold funds for what’s around the corner.
Your best bet is to stand in solidarity with us around 6.7-6.8
Keep it locked in and make a killing only amateurs are entertaining the buyers market for anything less then 6.0

I remember when plex was worth less than a bil and was one item. 7 bill for the 500 plex needed to sub will definitely weed out many of those who grind to plex their accounts if it holds there or gets higher. This is good in some ways, a detriment in others. Raising the sub cost and making it so many have to buy their way in Eve will not serve so well for CCP in the long run. I doubt it will sustain at that cost though. That’s just my opinion. Either way, Plex means very little, if anything, to me.
It’s definitely a sellers market…just in time for the holidays.

what are the transaction costs when we buy and sell plex in perimeter tranquility centre? That eats up some margin, im an alpha player.
I think we’ve already reached that point. If you’re PLEX’ing your account, even using the best deal CCP offers (4950 PLEX/2 years w/25% Omega discount) - you’re still looking at 206.25 PLEX per month.
If we use 5m PLEX prices (generous - not realistic), you’d still need to make 1.03b ISK per month - which is anywhere from 2.5-5+ hours per month of just “grinding” to pay for your account.
Pretty sure most people would rather work an extra hour and have the extra time to play EVE, spend time with family, etc.
More or less there will always be a sale on in the store for Capsuleers to work out an option to omega their account.
Either by stealing isk or assets from Miners or using the skills they have in real life to take advantage of their panhandling talents outside shopping malls.
At least that is the picture I visited when some ganker tart demanded Isk from me.

Guess what the difference is in player count when they are forced to pay IRL $$$ vs PLEXing..
Pro-tip. It goes down. CCP underestimates how many online toons rely on PLEXing. CCPs antics, including the $5 cash grab for first account, has cost them immeasurably in my case. Went from $45-60 a month to $0 a month. 24 accounts subbed in groups according to my playstyle at the time, to a single PLEX’d account I use to joke around on the market with now. They lost both $$$ and player count from me in one fell swoop of Icelandic stupidity.

How are they underestimating the numbers? They actually HAVE them, unlike either of us. Pricing have spiked, sure, but they are also trending down again due to the plex sales going on now.

Just because it’s cheaper doesn’t make it better!
My plex while 650k more expensive has been rigorously tested for quality, and was hand polished for that signature golden freshly minted sheen.
Those with an eye for detail expect no demand my plex, as a trusted and secure provider my satisfaction is all but guaranteed.
