Hi, @Arthur_Aihaken PLEX is 6 million in Gallente space right now 
I plan to buy PLEX this month but I’m not sure if I should hoard or sell and when. I will be stressed to sell but I know I must resist.
Finances is stressful, I understand now why some people have heart attacks dealing with real-life economics.

The buy price here in Gallente is 6.2 mil but the sell price is only 6.0 mil.
Why is that?
I go off the sell orders (not buy), but that’s just me. The current Omega+MCT sale is almost finished along with the Winter Nexus event and it looks like CCP staff have started returning from holidays.
So we’ll probably see a new sale or at least some new NES offerings.
Does that mean that the sell price of PLEX is likely to go up or down?
Depends on the sale. If it’s a juicy NES item for PLEX without an accompanying PLEX sale for cash, we’ll see a PLEX spike (at least temporary).
A PLEX sale for cash with a heavy discount would probably depress PLEX prices somewhat.
There’s no more free PLEX through gifts or the event, so there’s that as well.

You mean that more PLEX will be injected into the system by players, right?
Because there will then be more PLEX, right?

No, more PLEX leaving the game (less availability).
Yes. The SKINR PLEX discount is also ending.
The event granted 120 free PLEX per eligible player, so that was potentially a large amount of PLEX dumped on the market.

No problem at all (such that it was!) CCP doesn’t usually offer free PLEX beyond the free 5 PLEX per month for Omegas (through the dailies) and the occasional event, so we probably won’t see anything again until the next Crimson Harvest (or longer).
PLEX is (primarily) a player-introduced commodity, so prices are very much at the whim of supply and demand. Sales on Omega in the NES or particular items (extractors, hypercores, skill packages, etc.) can really deplete available PLEX.
I don’t like PLEX 
What’s not to like? It’s either that or everyone pays for a subscription. Without PLEX there would be no reason for Alphas or ability to PLEX your subscription. PLEX also helps counter RMT (not going to go into details).
