Why, the point is freedom to do as you can.
The catch has always been, can you. A lot of games allow you to say, you do something… here you can show you can… why change that?

That is an out of game activity, and is not exclusive to this game… if Minesweeper had a forum ( I should Google that… ) there is likely to be whining.

Hum, but you can’t enforce that without crawling and begging someone to do it for you. Therefore… you are screwed.
Indeed. The vast majority of my eve time is spent in industry. I do very little pvp.
But i understand how non-consensual pvp is instrumental to my game. Without it, what i do is meaningless and unengaging.
It’s also the only game where I can harvest quality tears like this.

If you want a game that is not eve, why don’t you not play eve? Surely if the future of gaming is not eve, then make and play other games. Elite? Star citizen? There’s no need to take an established and working game and run it into the ground by alienating the only players keeping it going…

I said nothing about PVP, I would love to have more freedom in PVP, it is by far the more restrictive activity.
What happened with a saying that everything in EVE is PvP?
the exciting part is knowing the risk is there and doing the thinking it takes to avoid the danger, not doing things in an unsafe way and hoping for the best.
i’m not sure why one would move all their stuff from one place to another, but my understanding is that there are corporations which do just that, and are probably a lot better at it that than i would be…

Logical thinking, but… EVE is something completely different, sometimes there is little logic there. Like in case of gas that cant be compresed, and ores that can. But I digress.
