You’re very delusional. Unless they remove all mining and isk making activities too. In a player run economy you cant have unlimited resources without risk or the market becomes way too saturated.
A prime example of that already in motion, is the ore mined in Delve, we cant sell titans for over 50b anymore.

In UO Trammel, there were rows and rows of houses with rows and rows of vendors, all selling the same armor and weapons.

I couldn’t agree more. Back when I started about a decade ago or so. Every new player was told that it would probably take at least a year or two before they could plex their acct, so they should just sub till then…
Of course I never listened. And I burned out many times trying to chase plex.
The game got fun as soon as I stopped and just bought a 1 year sub. Suddenly I had ~1 billion a month of “extra” isk that had previously been sunk on plex.
That ment I could go PvP, reinvest that isk, etc, and actually start playing not just grinding.
You will know you are ready to plex your acct. The moment you stop having to wonder if you could.

That doesn’t make you special, many of the people you’re denigrating as fanboys and griefers have similar backgrounds.
You’re not playing a game with teenagers here, you’re playing a game with engineers, developers, emergency services personnel, doctors, soldiers, priests, a politician, an actual rocket scientist, musicians, lawyers, business owners etc etc.
We know how business works, many of us have been involved in it for decades.

You do realise that what you call “business logic” is both subjective and not a one size fits all fix.
Different business’s require different business strategies, what works for one may not work for another, it is contextual.
What you see as logical in terms of attracting masses of casual players by removing what you see as undesirable elements from the game may well work for behemoths like Blizzard or EA, but it could well destroy a smaller company that has traditionally gone against being a direct competitor for the products of more mainstream giants.
An example from the automotive world that I work in is companies such as Lotus, who are owned by a massive Chinese automaker that also owns Volvo; both have been allowed to continue doing their thing, all the while feeding their tech, ideas and knowledge back into their parent organisation.
Not all profit is fiscal.
