As to why CCP is doing what they’re doing … I can’t tell. Also please know that ISD is not CCP and that you should petition ISDs who treat you wrongly. I understand that people are having issues with you doing it in the rookie chat, but I believe it’s mostly the losers, carebears and wannabe PvPers who sense you as a threat to their beliefs.
This is not a topic for this thread, though.
We should move it somewhere else.
I will send you a mail later today.
Back to topic… i really need those ideas challenged by someone conscious and [knowledgeable]
Can SOMEONE here goundly who is defending … explain and challenge these ideas ! … like 2 days … none of these very a few defenders came with proper explanation: i do challenge and i would like to hear how you guys defending this :
The problem of these abyssal PVE and PVP activity is that you cant get third partied, you know EXACTLY what you are facing… which is EXACTLY contrary to the sandbox of EVE… Where else do you get to PVE without people scanning you down and interrupting, where else in PVP do you know exactly how many ppl and how type of ships they can fly against u…
So, now that we have some cleaning up done, what about we discuss the current iteration and ways to better it.
The current form is clearly a way to test different combinations, formats, to see what works and what doesn’t. Judging by the kind of game in EVE we have I think it would be a mistake to encourage too small of a size for groups, outside of 1v1, 2v2 is too small, 3v3 is kinda okay, 5v5 should be the default, and is there the possibility that more than 5-people teams enter the Proving Grounds?
Could it be possible to test 10v10?
EVE being a corp and social based game, it would benefit from higher count teams compared to other games, 1v1, 5v5, 10v10 should be the formats imo.
That and the possibility of limiting them to low-sec, this would throw a bone for those who would want those to interact more with the rest of the universe. That and avoiding the Jita spam.
There are more things that can be suggested, like changing the spawning distances, or maybe adding a coalescing circle of doom to avoid stalemates.
It is not a feature of a game which is classified as Sandbox game
Sanbox thing ??? you mean thing ?? you mean EVe online is not sandbox thing??? … this aspect is one of biggest speciality makes EVE far different from many others ones … and the reason many players go for it .
Everytime they put a drop of poison into water… and you think its deluted in it… frog boiling… but no… it doesnt work like that my friend …
Denial… of the nature of this game… thats whats happening here…
No I do not mean that, and I saw your edit from what was a perfectly adequate comment to that bolded and opiniated mass of words that you have now.
Only reason why I am responding to you is to let you know I saw your edit, you seem more interested in being outraged over what is happening and over those who don’t share your unrestrained love of open-world PvP.
Now, when you are ready to have a calm and reasonable discussion, without invectives, and forcing everyone to have the exact same view as you on the game, and trying to do a psychlogical profile of the person you are talking to, I might give you a try, might…
Other than that, back to more constructive people.
nice! Really hope they let the old provings as they are, so we have both the provings in Abyssal sites AND the new filaments for the new Arena events, which are different.
