Because solo PLAYERS refers to the way they are PLAYING, not the corporation.

If you can’t afford the extra cost you have no business having a structure. You know the phrase… Don’t fly (or deploy in that case) what you can’t afford to lose.

When you know you 100% lose it within a week or two - it is no sense to deploy even ef you afford to lose dozens of it.
That’s exactly what Quantum Cores update did - push out small HS industrial/moon mining corps/solo playes from the game.

I wonder if the guys who are doing some of the most intense whining and complaining realize how bad it makes them look publicly? If they’re even aware that this level of cowardice, while unbecoming of an adult in general, is exceptionally bad in the context of an inconsequential video game? I have a “cringe moment” when I imagine a girl or something, or god forbid their wife observe them act this way, and then dry up completely with a newfound lack of respect.
Like, there’s a sense of self-preservation, and then there’s this, which is on a whole different level. I would be terrified to act this way in public, knowing how people would perceive it, and what they would think of me.
I’m curious whether they’re internally framing acting this way as a virtue because they bought into some “nice guy” propaganda, not realizing what they’re doing, or not thinking that this applies to what they’re doing.
And once again, this isn’t with regard to the self-interested who are up-front about their greed (e.g. the “I want to make money without others interfering” people, which I can understand), but those who specifically go after the “the mean griefers are terrorizing us!” angle.
