Quantum cores make stations unaffordable for Joe/anne Sixpack, average EVE player

Not newcomers. Solo players.

Itā€™s not meant to push anyone out of the game. Itā€™s meant to encourage multiplayer content by making owning a citadel more of a commitment.

The PROBLEM is, it still isnt a commitment and needs to be nerfed even more. Iā€™m pretty sure CCP knows this.

Furthermore, itā€™s extremely obvious (to those of us that have a clue) that you should NOT be able to have your citadel in a holding Corp while you are immune to wardecs in your real corp.

Changes like this may push some solo players out but weā€™re better off without them. If your only contribution to the multiplayer ecosystem is manufacturing (market competition for ships and modules) then youā€™re contributing less to the community than you are taking (competition for gametime).

CCP wants your money but the Eve COMMUNITY couldnt care less about solo industry.

Yes, I know, read it many times. Thank you.

@Cel_ah_Vee yes but did you know this?

You mean, did I know that ( quote before the question, what came before = that - what follows = this )
Why are you iffing me about Manufacturing? What prompted that question? Why should I care about Manufacturing? Why should I care about this nonsense of ā€˜ecosystemā€™ ? CCP bamboozled EVE players with hollow fancy words and Iā€™m supposed to give a ratā€™s ass?

Because this topic is about solo manufacturers not being able to afford their own citadelā€¦

The topic says ā€œstationsā€. Can be any kind of player stations, not necessarily stations to manufacture in.
You just pulled whatever question out your rear-end and ask if I knew thatā€¦ Again, IDGAF about Manufacture in EVE. Matter of fact IDGAF about most things in the game. Iā€™m only interested in popping ships and I care not whose.

I am wondering at what level of team playing one has to have to be able to have a structure in hisec.

This is what you need imo:

120 combat characters available at all hours 7/7 24/24
A doctrine of bling ships to be able to go toe to toe with anything that might come for you.

There you are the level of team co-operation you have to have to ensure your structure will survive in hisec.

99.99% of newcomers - solo players.

I have owned an industrial citadel just a few jumps away from a hub for over a year now. Iā€™ve defended it three times via various means, and Iā€™m essentially a solo player.

Youā€™re just a massive whiny baby.

Not whatever!
Newcomers are not solo players since they belong in a corporation- NPC but still a corporation where they can ask other newcomers to fleet with them and ask questions of senior members of said corporation since there are players in NPC corporations that have been in said corporations for years.

Solo players have their own corporation - albeit with alternative characters - but they are solo, meaning they do not fleet with others.

@Destiny_Corrupted used to be, as you so politely put it, wardec scum.
