Quantum Cores - Updates begin 8 September

Since there is 100% drop rate this is not a isk sink. Also, npc will buy them back from me? If not. Over short time price will be joke.

Guess what. Structure ownership is OPTIONAL. If you don’t like the change, feel free to unanchor and scoop your structures. With the exception of the 1 man corporations, the money from this comes from the organization whom owns the structure. Owning a structure typically also entails the ability to defend said structure hence wardecs being tied to structure ownership.

… you realize that the fact that it’s NPC seeded means the lowest price will be… NPC seeded price…

Assuming EVERY structure with one dies and you sell the Cores back to the NPCs, which isn’t going to happen, but feel free to keep fantasizing if it makes you feel better, lmao.

I would imagine the turn in price to the NPC will be less than the cost of purchase so there will still be some isk sink to it.

i dont have any structure and feel excluded…

You are funny. You must work for CCP to believe that people would stop doing that.

If the NPCs buy lower than they sell you just start selling to players.

I have a question: how do we install it into our KS, which is in c2 wormhole system?

The Camel Empire

That feel when you get evicted by CCP.

Feels bad man.

It’s a big enough target that the structure bashers and the hisec war deccers are going to have a field day with the structures from the small corps and the solo industry players. It’s one more in the long string of things that have served to disincentivise any form of small group play that isn’t lowsec or hisec gank squads. It’s turning into join a null bloc or else.

My point was that there is still an isk sink with a 100% drop rate if the NPC offers to purchase the item at a lower price than it’s purchase price. Selling it on the market/contract still takes market taxes and will still have the effect of being an isk sink.

He thinks a sudden spike of over 200% base cost (backdated) is something to shrug off.

Thanks. Null players are like middle class. We pay for all of eve, we work the hardest, and we are constantly nerfed to keep the morons with nothing happy. I love it. I mean why stop there? Why not put this on ships? Everytime i use a titan and super, you need to installl a core that costs 3985938459 trill isk. Why not just ban all of nullsec from playing eve? Whats next? 1 core a year? I mean cmon.

CCP is not done yet with null sec

Ask your owner for a raise, krab.

Its real people who are going to lose their stations here.

Awesome. Very happy for J-space.

Now imagine that nothing drops, and that’s basically the rest of the game, killing structures.

Wow. Just when you think we’re the douches, someone comes along and out-douches Goonswarm, with crap like ‘owner’ and ‘real people’.

Really. :golfclap: I am impressed.

Do NPC Sotiyos/forward operating bases require Quantum Cores?

Cores dropping from NPC Upwell structures could serve as a secondary method to acquire cores without paying scaling premiums to NPC vendors.

That would turn them into an ISK faucet, since we’d just farm the hell out of the FOBs etc, and CCP wants more sinks, not faucets.

I believe the intent isn’t to give the huge alliances a tax on building Keepstars so much as to force them to attach a 30bil ISK lure to each and every one of them.

Thanks, I do try.

But yeah, still stands your lot can afford it.

Simple fact is this immeadiately outprices sub alliance operations handled as private investments under a particular size.
