No you just need to save up for that defense fleet
I dunno. I own several personal structures, and I donât krab. This is a one-time cost that, amortized over the life of the structure, will be less than the fuel costs after X amount of time. Itâs just not that bad.
Did you realize that you literally mark every Cit owner with crosshair on his back?
good, htfu or gb2wow
CCP once again screwing small corps and Indy players. Ok we get it you want every one to join null blocks and join the TiDi warsâŚ
Or, this is just a thought, you could utilize NPC structures, make friends, make allies, buy friends/allies or just consider it a cost of operation.
CCP once again screwing small corps and Indy players.
carebears arenât people; theyâre like NPCâs in that they exist for real peopleâs amusement
Eve is a sandbox where one can do anything. Unless your ideal play style is just some chill moon mining and basic indy with a small group of friends. If thatâs your play style, CCP will come along and nerf your moons. Sure, the isk and the minerals arenât there but the chill life is what you like and why you play so youâll keep on mining waiting for the balance, after all, youâve invested in the infrastructure already. But then CCP comes along and paints an even bigger target on your investment with quantum cores. Youâre a small group and know you canât defend against a big war so now your chill life of just mining and basic indy is all gone because CCP gave the go ahead to war decs galore and now youâre wondering why you continue to pay for your omegas because your entire way of life has been completely ruined in less than a year. Sandbox, my ass. If you want everyone to join big corps where you canât forge your own path, just man up and say it.
This is in fact not great. Might as well make every skill in the a game a x5 train for me as well. I really donât mind grinding but damnit CCP, I do want to get there before the freaking heat death of the universe.
This will mean yet another feature is outside of my reach in this game. Newbroâs pay just as much to play this game as everyone else. Donât make â â â â impossible.
Well ofc your argument is âdont be a poorâ, and ofc you dont krab yourself, you have underlings who do that for you.
Im not expecting an organisation of your magnitude to see this as anything but a good thing either.
But the only structure spam thats going to go down is the small to medium enterprise stations, because they simply wont be used anymore.
When someone can afford to run three stations, they werent most likely to be planning to immeadiately outlay the cost of upwards of 6+ more to run at the same level.
Theyll just go back to NPC stations instead.
And yeah âdont be a poorâ, but that line just got thicker
Why does a Newbro need to anchor and own their own structure?
This change doesnt effect the individual player with the exception of 1 man corps that own a structure. It costs the organization money.
Goons are staring down the nose of a multi-trillion isk price tag to get all their structures cored, and so are all of the largest blocs in the game. Thereâs a war going on that impacts most of the major nullblocs and their income generation is curtailed while everybody is fighting, so this is going to put pressure on the big guys as much as it does the smaller groups.
Those are some of the most spammed of the structures, so this is part of the design.
They have four months to generate the income to cover these costs. The fact that this does have a major impact on existing groups is one of the reasons why I and others advocated to provide such a long grandfathering.
Why is that a bad thing?
Ive already made my case, Brisc.
And you know I disagree with all your points and why, its why youve got your responses lined up.
So the only thing Im adding is this:
You dont make something aspirational by taking it away from people who already have it.
Why is that your argument? Did you read the rest of the post? Do you know how much i have invested in this game? Have you seen the CCP ads on youtube? âDo anything!â I was actually getting pretty close to having my own indy setup. welp not anymore. Especially not now that CCP just target painted every small corp in the game. Now itâs Blue donut or bust.
This BS!! CCP keeps showing they donât care about anyone but the aggressors/PKers! So a defnding corp gets to pay for the station and now these new cores. While the attackers get more reward for little to no risk! Pi$$ off CCP and the trash balance teams!
The mining/indy/market changes have cost you paying customers and now tilting the balance in favor of the PKers even more will cost you even more customers! Who ever came in this year and drivng these changes should be removed!
To all the BS CSMs you suck at your job of representing all play styles and all of New Eden.
I hope CCP continues to lose players and lose money till someone competent is running the game.
The grind for removing stations should be unrewarding as the aggressors/PKers are taking control of an area. That is the reward!
Eve is a sandbox where one can do anything. Unless your ideal play style is just some chill moon mining and basic indy with a small group of friends.
Itâs a sandbox where players often face undesired consequences for their actions.
But you will still be able mine moons as an indy corp. Hire mercenaries when you get attacked. Defend your structure yourselves in T1 cruisers. Live in Solitude.
Well Ultimately I blame CCP for making citadels too easy to begin with. Sadly they let the cat out of the bag and now are trying to clean up the litter box.
https://prnt.sc/u9tx9d Why are you so upset, you donât even seem to have a structure that would even require one of these Quantum Cores.
Because you were disingenuously trying to pull the âthink of the childrenâ argument for something you have no actual grounds for support.
If you want to make a selfish argument, do so. Donât pretend youâre doing it for the sake of ânewbrosâ, kid. Itâs so obvious that you donât actually care about them but just want to use them for your own personal arguments.
They did, I agree.
They should have stated the minimum required Alliance size and income from the start.
Alternatively, thye couldve brought forward the POS replacement they said they want.
But they havent, so now theres a higher price ceiling.
