Incoming unintended consequences⌠or is it?
At least my overview will be clean when I fly through highsec.
One unintended consequence is that it will be impossible to keep a Keepstar in small wormholes, but it seems CCP is aware of that now.
Bonuses from Upwell structures depends on sec status of system they are being deployed. Why not make it like, core drop 100% in null and holes, 50% in low sec, 30% in high sec ? ( these numbers can be tweaked ofc but null and holes must be 100%).
The reason there is structure spamming is down to the fact they donât require you to stay around while you spam some more of them, because itâs easier to spam them than to take them down.
This update makes it much easier to take down those spammed structures as they can be immediately destroyed when no Quantum Core is installed, encouraging the âspammersâ to defend their structures instead of wasting more ISK on structures that are now easily blown up.
Better hurry up and build that freighter so that you have someplace to put the keepstar once you unanchor it!
Question the âfuntion to become a war deck for the shiity piratsâ require quantum cores? or is only for the people who actualy need structures for make isk? i am asking because i dont see that part witch mean the war decks of the shiity piratas in hs who usualy are no fitted we dont need quantum cores for declare war witch mean still is not work for the the peoble who recive the war try to kill the structure because those still not will drop nothing
Can I just anchor the quantum core and tether to that?
If a Quantum Core is not required for a war headquarters, it would still be stupid to not install a Quantum Core in your war headquarters.
It would be a shame if you declared war and the defenders bash your war headquarters all the way in one go, because your war HQ doesnât have any structure timers.
Yup, weâll be coring our structuresâŚjust like we arm and fuel themâŚyou can fight us, but its gonna be an actual fight.
u are wrong in ur second part
this mean the shiity pirtas will not be to spend in cores to declare war they just will spam her structure 55 jumps to the defenders and declare war
BECAUSE I DONT SEE THE PART WHO SAID U NEED CORES TO DECLARE WAR
So a couple people with bombers run 55 jumps and blow up the war HQâŚits been done.
Like I said in my previous response to the previous time you asked this, the war HQ will have no timers if it has no core in it.
Sneak up there when the aggressors are sleeping/away and you can blow it up in one go, finishing the war more easily than ever before. It may be not necessary to put a core in your war HQ, but it would be an incredibly bad idea nonetheless to not put a core in it.
That had already been discussed. I originally liked that, but they determined if there were anchoring limits on orbitals, it would be likely the mega blocs would end up anchoring something on every orbital and prevent anyone from anchoring anything else
that is a really bad argument. If a corp is doing something useful in a structure, there is already an incentive to blow them up now. If they arenât doing anything, then its just space junk
hey are mostly doing something as they paying to fuel them, they probably using it as a base, a refinery or compressor etc. In HS asset safety is such that there is no incentive to destroy structures as nothing drops from doing it. However the payouts on these cores are going to be larger than the actual cost of the structure, so you will have large groups just cutting down all the structures to farm the cores.
Consequently small indy groups in HS will either be forced to use structures owned by larger groups, or go into null, or out of the game.
This doesnt affect me too much, but will screw small HS corps starting out from owning structures.
We saw with the abandoned structure change there were thousands destroyed in a week, which largely removed the space junk. however by incentivising people to kill powered, active structures then you will have the same fleets running round HS deccing and razing any they find (unless they belong to larger groups that could defend)
Why does the little guy need his own citadel? When my dscan is literally full of citadels in HS it seems there are plenty to go around.
The best ships are friendships.
Some of the worst structure spam seems to be in HS.
Why do large alliances need citadels?
Your dscan will be less full after the change, and those on there will be all large alliances. Small indy corps wanting to build and do their own stuff will be unable to.
NPC stations arent that useful anymore in competition with citadels, so people will likely end up using ones owned by larger player corps (as they do with the TTT) but like the TTT this just circulates isk back to the large alliances via taxes and i dont think will work as a great long terms isk sink either as people will just stop anchoring structures in HS. So whilst it will sink alot quickly, itll be sinking a lot less after a while I would expect.
