Did you expect him to, after all he isn’t a Psychganopathologist or Carebearologist?
And what about yours?
Blowing up defenses miners when there is no police, laughing, hiding behing “it’s legal” because there are no police and shrugging off the emotional turmoil, and distress you are inflicting upon those people with such a cavalier attitude.
In fact, I bet you blocked me because I’ve been touching that part of your conscience that you’ve suppressed and reminds you that what you are doing is heinous and wrong.
Meh…there’s a lot of bluster, but one has to be rather more important than us lot for anyone to even bother undocking for.
I’m too busy winning by multiboxing station spinning.
I did not block you, why should I? Your attempts at “No U!” repeating what I wrote, are simply missing the mark, because I do what is right. And if people want to grief and troll me in game because of that, it means that I was right all the time about them, about CCP, and the game allowing it.
Right about that nasty things happen and it drives majority of people away at the starting point and throughout, and only the most pathological element stays eventually, slowly driving everyone decent and honest like me away from the game.
No U aren’t. You are just losing, killing precious life time. Instead you could do something to redeem yourself and try playing something decent.
What, no more people wanting to discuss ganking?
Forums are dead, like game it seems, and the gankers achieved their goal, of killing everything.
Few years ago this thread would be already closed. Seems nobody left anymore to care.
I even seen that person who was threatening me with ganking in game if ever be playing again, was a repeated victim of ganking. That actually proves my point. People leaving the game due to being driven away by ganking, and they themselves see it as the most evil thing, which could be done to others. They are lost if they take up this evil route, as disease will spread.
What is there to discuss?
It’s part of the game and completely within the rules and mechanics of EVE.
This is one of the very few games where you can flat out murderzone someone in any region of space, provided you accept the consequences.
There have been literally thousands of folk such as yourself over the years. Coming into forums, screeching about ganking being “against the rules” and then refusing to listen when older, more experienced players try to point out the error in their thinking.
It’s actually quite tedious.
And only gankers will eventually stay, driving everyone else away. As was always predicted. The only socially, mechanically possible way.
No, it isnt. I do that for years like others. Only people dont accept we were right all along, so number of players is going down. Truth, ignored or opressed, thiumphs at last!
I’m applying Hitchen’s Razor.
That which is presented without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
In any event, once again, you’re wrong. CCP did an extensive dive through their logs a while back in an attempt to answer the question: did being ganked drive new players away. Here’s CCP Rise’s comment on the matter:
“We have tried and tried to validate the myth that griefing has a pronounced affect on new players - we have failed. The strongest indicators for a new player staying with EVE are associated with social activity: joining corps, using market and contract systems, pvping, etc. Isolating players away from the actual sandbox seems very contrary to what we would like to accomplish.” CCP Rise. For anyone who still have any doubts, please see the statistics for cities around USA, where people are leaving crime ridden cities and move away to states where crime is not tolerated, and cost of living, emotionally and business wise, is lower.
This thing is directly corresponding to the games, as people playing them are the same. CCP broke ass research doesnt even research right thing, the nature of people.
I suppose I have a choice. I can either utilize evidence from the game itself, in order to evaluate the game. Or I can consider some random statistics about Detroit. Hm, I wonder which dataset will be most relevant to my inquiry?
So, not undocking, and spinning my ship is loosing?
Wow! I had no idea! Thank you for making that obvious!
Gosh! You should become a life coach!
What has crime in real life have to do with actions in a video game? You’re comparing apples to corvettes with that one.
I suggest you read CCPs Mission Statement: CCP Games
CCP is a business. They exist to make a profit. If they thought that ganking was hurting their profits, they’d put an end to it. Simple as that. They’ve certainly made it harder in recent years, but they’ve kept it in the game.
I daresay they know their product and players better than you do.
There’s no CONCORD in real life.
Therefore, there should be no CONCORD in the game.
CONCORD is the only thing that keeps amoral people, like Nana, from rampaging across New Eden and murdering defenseless miners. Spreading agony and strife in her wake of destruction.
There are, afaik, 18 Concord in the world.
Twenty were built, one was scrapped in 1994 and one came down in a big ball of fire in 2000.
That was before my time!
If only. Finally, the whole whiners would be gone and we could just pvp each other in respawning noob ships all day as James intended
This might not be the future scenario and moving towards a better highsec is being launched soon after the CSM18 members begin building on their promises.
Show your license so we can confirm that is true!
