Quitting EVE for now

(Removed)

You’re already in a pretty good org to fix that, though, and you don’t want to be there for some reason. Difficult to understand what it is you’re ultimately looking for here, and for some reason you seem to have an aversion to actually stating what it is that you want.

Most people in nullsec are pretty serious about what they do, and you’re what the leeches tell the recruiters they are in order to get in the door. Eve Online is an old game, and they’re assuming you’re lying to them just like the last 500 “explorers looking for small gang” miners/ratters who refused to PvP did. It’s not that they’re unfriendly to new players, they’ve just been burned by that exact same story dozens or hundreds of times.

If you really are interested in that, look into Faction Warfare and spend a while building yourself a killboard of small gang PvP to back up your story.

Alternatively, change your approach. Apply as an avid Newbro Hero Tackle, and whenever you’re not collecting SRP on free ships, you can explore to your heart’s content. They aren’t fighting all the time.

@Vorri_Kishunuba
Do not join Absolute Order. They demand your soul and offer nothing in return. They’re always at war because every corporation hates them so you’ll always be hunted. They’re a terrible Alliance.

On the contrary. Noobs make useful cannon fodder in battles….which seems harsh but that is how they learn. Many corps do training for things like battles, but it can’t really prepare you for the real thing. Noobs also help bring in ISK from mining, and in many cases get SRP ( ship replacement ) if they get ganked. One has to remember that all those senior people in any corp were once noobs themselves.

He said he wants to experience every aspect at this game including PvP… in nullsec.

That’s just nonsense. AO have never ‘demanded’ anything of me. I do pretty much as I please, skip battles, seldom donate, and even run my own independent corp that I spend most of my time in….and I’ve yet to have any complaints.

It’s not if you’re losing ships, it’s what ships you’re losing. A red killboard of combat ships looks a lot better to a nullsec recruiter than a red killboard of exploration ship. If you’re flying with others, you’ll have green on your killboard from being on their killmails even if you lost your ship in that fight, showing you actually do participate in small gang PvP.

Honestly, if you just want reliable small gang PvP when you’re not exploring, FW may be your best option. You won’t notice a difference in how Nullsec treats you exploring, all while being in a far more relaxed PvP atmosphere.

He thinks being asked to show up for 1 CTA a month is too demanding, ignore him.

Huh ? Wars are the perfect opportunity for me to do the hunting. All that ‘ don’t undock because we are at war ‘ stuff is pure nonsense. Any good player takes advantage of wars rather than huddling up safely in dock.

If you are really quitting, you should send that to me, and I can use it to help new players who have less demanding requirements.

TBH, my recommendation would be to stay in Eve Uni and look for subgroups within the org to get acclimated to PvP. An org that size almost surely has some people interested in doing roams or camps here and there.

You can also check out the NPSI (Not Purple, Shoot It) community which offers open PvP fleets with no commitment required from you beyond the one fleet. You just show up in the type of ship the FC is calling for, fleet up, and go out for a little roam.

It’s an easy way to get some experience under your belt.
