Raravoss Falls, Security reduced from 0.6 to 0.3

yes, it would appear so…friends of mine reported it was pure chaos an hour or so ago while they were observing.

:red_circle: Probably not because that would mean CCP had thought this through.

Its obvious they haven’t thought it through, because siding with Trigs, and losing standings with EDENCOM, doesn’t affect the individual empires like it should.

Oh, shortly after Raravoss went to -3, there was a nice juicy rattlesnake worth 4B destroyed.

Are all or most trig invasion systems going to turn high-sec systems into lo-sec systems then? It’s a poor verdict on the state of the game when fleets of nullsec players flock to high-sec for their pvp. The game is not meant to be null vs highsec.

It might be entertaining for those players at the expense of the high-seccers they are killing, who didn’t realise the system they were in was about to flip to lo-sec. But that’s not going to last very long, because as the community becomes aware of this, people just won’t bother coming.

I doubt it will take long before the ex high-sec systems become devoid of players, just like most of lo-sec.

I can hear the squish-squish of the sweaty palms hand wringing from here.

Yes but you go suspect (which is normal for low sec).

What’s not normal though is that i got a notification of a kill right for someone attacking me. I haven’t properly checked but i might still have it for 30 days.

Don’t be silly.

Players are flocking to the system to enjoy the carnage. And there’s no such thing as null sec vs high-sec.

It was test vs pen is out vs hell dawn vs eve uni vs hundreds of others.

It makes sense that high goes to low, low goes to null.

The existing low-sec sites with Trig invasions should go to null. Allowing null players to bring their meta to the low-sec players who stage from low-sec to harass null blocks.

And high to low allowing low-sec to bring their meta to high-sec players.

Overall, this shrinks high-sec with the hopes it maybe gets too crowded and people choose to stay and accept the new reality or leave…choices matter after all.

Unless you are repping and then apparently choices go out the window.

Is there no chance a low sec system can be turned to highsec if edencom win?

And if a low sec system turns to null, i wonder if bubbles and bombs will be allowed.

Faction warfare with bubbles…

This system hasn’t changed since it became low-sec…maybe the Trig support force is afraid of pvp and this will be as far as it goes…

Players are flocking to the system to enjoy it? Oh really. You didn’t look at the Ekid gate there then. Don’t jump through in anything you don’t want to lose because two massive yellow and red fleets of players are camping the gate and killing everyone who enters.

It’s almost like you tried to make a point and then deliberately defeated it all within the same post.

Congrats!

The system is busier than I’ve ever seen it and busier than a lot if highsec systems ever are. And to top it off kills per hour on zkillboard.com has been rising since the system turned to low sec…

:man_shrugging:

I don’t know what to tell you other than players are obviously heading into the system, gate camp or not.

Look at it on the map right now.

So it is Null/Low-Sec against High-Sec then (not player vs. Trig, as it initially seemed intended).

It seems there is no benefit to fighting the Trigs then, since everyone seem just to want to kill High-Sec space and generally most other players?

Yeah, pretty much.

And in the process of killing high sec they’ll also kill the game.

Basically Eve Online goes out with a big bang.

I’m not sure it is null vs high, but it does seem to be PVP oriented players being willing to participate in PVE activities in order to get more PVP opportunities.

What made you think it was players vs trigs? And not players fighting along side trigs as well as per the standing system you seem to have missed.

Players are choosing their own sides regardless of the sec status they usually live in…

The whole point was players choose their own side. There’s isn’t much point crying about it if players aren’t picking the side you want.

All this bickering is mute.

Hi-Sec players had a choice to go to low or null before this. Changing it to low or null wont make the hi-sec players magically change their mind.

Only a few systems will change and Hi-sec will become smaller. Nothing more.

seems that the only ships being lost worth anything are the victims who have no idea that systems showing as high sec are operating on low sec rules, theres a ton of cheap as heck pvp ships lost then theres the obvious explorers and mission runners who are woefully ill equiped for pvp - if this event thing wasnt going on the pvp players would at least have to account for the ship for ship trade. The onnly reason this is SO huge there is because of all the unaware pve pilots

And given how the killmails all seem to show the same pilots it seems pretty likely that its big bunches of friends camping a common transit point, and less a big all in brawl. Same names over and over and over. Am seeing alot of low skill fits being killed too. Such skill, such amazingness. I bet this is going to do great things for the game when players get isolated and new players get ganked untill they are trapped in dead end pockets with no way to even replace losses, let alone earn isk to afford too.

ooh I am still going through the kill boards - a CODE brutix was destroyed

https://zkillboard.com/kill/84559816/ - this is the sort of thing thats no good - a low skill player flying a low skill fit KO’d while passing through what was normal high sec. What will they learn from that. If thats their first character in game and they justlost all they had, they arent going to go back to intro missions and grind up a new destroyer and i highly doubt they will throw down 20 USD for a plex to sell. Bringing the null sec players into high sec for no consequence ganking helps no onne

Exactly.

Players have been given the chance to shape (a little of) the world around them.

If some players refuse to take part because they basically feel impotent, then they’ve no one to blame but themselves if things don’t go their way.
