Raravoss Falls, Security reduced from 0.6 to 0.3

Ah, I don not think killing High Sec necessarily kills the game. But indescriminatly destroying other players (be it via gatecamps, stationcamps or gankfleets) might be hurtful in the long run. I am long enough in game to know, that PvP for many (most?) pirates/low/null Sec players mean (or at least “meant in the past”) gankfleet-all-the-way.

It is a little funny to read the arguments, that want to say “I want to be able to attack an opportune target any time.” while at the same time really mean: “I want to get together with some friends, form a roaming fleet with tacklers, DD etc. and jump from mining belt to mining belt or maybe sit at a gate.”

I do not want to say that either behaviour is good or bad. It certainly is fun to form a strategic fleet and try to find opponents, I am just saying, that a Mammoth, Venture, or the likes is in my eyes not really an “opponent”?

This isn’t an event. An event wouldn’t have a permanent change to the map…sigh. Lots of misunderstanding going on on all sides.

One of the most expensive losses in the system is a pvp fit proteus.

But to further the cause of either side, you have to run pve. So players on all sides are tying to blitz sites.

Some of the pve fits you’re seeing are fully aware of what’s happening. They’re just trying to be quick.

Note the sniper nightmare

Edit

You’re making a lot of assumptions about that omen pilot.

You say that as though you’ve never been wrong before.

The whole point was players choose their own side. There’s isn’t much point crying about it if players aren’t picking the side you want.

It is immensly funny to read responses from players liking/defending this change of pace/game. Because you immidiatly assume that everyone who does not agree with you, is a carebear and does not like this. This is exactly the same reaction that High-Sec Carebears entertain when there is a change that THEY want to “defend”.

Did i call you carebear?

You whinged about it being pointless to fight against trigs. It is what it is.

Fellas, what is the point of arguing here? If you don’t like the changes and direction which this game is heading from some time, then there is only one way to show your disappointment: close your e-wallet until CCP understands where they fail to properly develop this game and the whole aspect of in-game balance, as playerbase and their income shall decrease.

Arguing here, insulting each other and carousel of speculation is just a waste of time. CCP don’t care what do you think, and what you express in forum threads. They note, however, changes in their stats that they closely monitor (like monetization revenue). That’s all.

This pretty much.

Get busy living or get busy dying.

I had fun. Made 300m in isk alot of fleeting around killin stuff and a little PvP after the switch. Lost a 300m ship came out even.
I’d say a success.

I asked if it is pointless. Learn to read. It is just this: everyone who is not your opinion just “whines”. That is true for this iteration and for every other former/older iteration, where the former “whiners” defend their thing.

Just as a side-note: If the Trig turn High-Sec to Low-Sec and players siding with the Trig do it to make that happen (to make life interesting - turning HS to LS), then it is basically HS vs LS. Of course, that implies, that HS can get its act together to actually do something?

Can’t wait until Perimeter and Jita will fall below 0.5 Sec.

I will admit it is an assumption, but it is based off of the new pilot I created in january and when it was about 2 months old it was flying a maller with a similar fit, though I did have abyssal heatsinks because I found someone who accidentally posted a ton of mutaplasmid things at a catastrophically low price. They listed the whole stack for the price of 1 individual thing lol.

It wasnt kitted out in t2 or faction gear, even now that pilot after running exploration for as long as it has only has t2 modules with a single expensive mod in its afterburner. That omen reeks of semi/low skillpoints pilot or not an advanced knowledge of the game to upgrade/train for better fittings in key slots - meta power diags and a cap battery, also no prop mod and no tank aside form a dcu. Doesnt seem like a skilled/skillpoint fit to me

I was playing with an omen fit, this is one i saved 28 jan this year while getting a few more skills up for it before going for maller instead -

[Omen, Cruiser]
Extruded Compact Heat Sink
Extruded Compact Heat Sink
Extruded Compact Heat Sink
Extruded Compact Heat Sink
Tracking Enhancer II
Medium ACM Compact Armor Repairer

10MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner
Alumel-Wired Enduring Sensor Booster
Optical Compact Tracking Computer

Heavy Modulated Energy Beam I
Heavy Modulated Energy Beam I
Heavy Modulated Energy Beam I
Heavy Modulated Energy Beam I
Heavy Modulated Energy Beam I

Medium Explosive Armor Reinforcer I
Medium Semiconductor Memory Cell I
Medium Thermal Armor Reinforcer I

Multifrequency M x10

Thats a skilled fit for a low skill pilot. That omen i linked was clearly an unskilled fit for a low skilled pilot, and they were happily stomped out by a roaming gang operating in this new broken highsec that goons and co are loving

Oh I can just imagine the amount of tears that there will be here if that ever happens.

And the epic battle between those who want to see it burn and those who would quit if it did

I really do not think, there would be an opposition. It would just be transport/freighter killing left and right. I think nobody there really fights. I think they would just quit, as you say?

So much already have been said about fozzie sov by null-sec dwellers. It would be interesting to spectate how they will be forced to participate in this new “hi-sec fozzie sov” schedule to save their Tranquility tower.

No, podding is still criminal act in low sec.

there is a TON of pod kills in raravoss, im not sure if there is any negative consequences for it but theres lots to be found on zkillboard

Sec status drop and gate guns will engage, standard lowsec penalty.

No. No you didn’t.

This isn’t a question. It isn’t worded like one even if you put the question mark in the right place.

Learn2write? Or own your mistake?

By this do you mean hisec players vs low sec players? Or do you mean highsec systems vs low sec systems?

Cause systems can’t shoot eachother and that’s a weird thing to say.

I managed to move precisely through that gate… you just need intel on what is going on at the gate :stuck_out_tongue:

In my case: I am blowing up edencom to turn amarr/caldari systems into trig systems :stuck_out_tongue:
On another hand of course PVP players will grind some trig content if it means they can drop sec status and start killing everything in sight w/o concord interference - especially first moments after sec drop, when many clueless idiots fly bling thinking they are still safe.

Only few systems, yes. But they are ice systems >:]

There are many fat warnings about this - both when you enter it, and when you undock. It is annoying - I almost lost jackdaw to facpol thanks to those stupid warnings.

It is actually no biog brawl but total chaos.

You are quite confused… no one said this is event: this is 3rd and last chapter of triglavian invasion. After it new eden will not be the same as before. Unless you defend it of course. You don’t want hisec turning into lowsec? Join imperialist fleet. I on another hand won’t cooperate with concord. They support slavery. Free Minmatar! Down with concord!
