Re-named: I lost my Azbel with my entire life’s work in the 2 weeks between logging in

and citadels always had a reliable asset safety… until they ceased to have.

Tell that to nullsec outposts that were all completely replaced with citadels - prior to that change they were indestructible as well, only capturable. Which consitutes great difference in here.

As was the way they handled removal of reliance of core citadel feature. Precedence is set, trust is gone, and that’s the kind of point in here, isn’t it?

OP, you are still here, why therefore should CCP care?

Their actions have not driven you from the game, which essentially vindicates the decision… and will fuel the next one, and the next

because he ceased to pay them money?

sticking around the forum is not equal to not being driven away from the game, not since they removed restriction that allowed only subbed players to post in here - You would be surprised how many of players active on forums have not touched the game at all in months.

I have not logged in since it happend. I also unsubbed. I am just here on the forum to make sure as many people as possible know what happened and what CCP is capable of in which way.

Well, that teaches me for being a crap troll…

CCP giveth, CCP taketh away. Before asset safety there was nothing and it was good.

There was, and still is, NPC stations (for now).

Yeah may mistake, trusting in one game mechanic and not the other. I should have guessed better, which one they will change.

And there will always be NPC stations.

There was always Nullsec Outposts (:

Nullsec outposts were player structures without agents and militia offices.

Something what players could put in space, was always to be removed or conquered by players.

We will see.

Agents and militia offices can possibly be moved to Upwell Structures. Just like research was moved to poses and then to Upwell Structures. NPC-Stations are already not needed for storage anymore.
Agents could also, just as easily, be moved to agents in space or purely a menue.

If assets in Upwell Structures/Citadels are not safe anymore I wouldn’t bet that NPC-Stations will hold limitless resources in 100% safety forever. NPC-Stations are a legacy mechanic.

Of course they’re still needed, who in their right mind would trust a player owned station.

Those that don’t have annother option, hence when ccp finally decided to go one step further with their “eve is a cold dark place, everything is destructable, everything you own is at risk”
When they remove npc-stations, that’s when ppl will have to move their assets somewhere else.

There always remains one option in any MMO, just don’t play it.

You’re such an altruistic person.

We are having this discussion during the Triglavian invasion. If these NPCs take over a system, are the existing NPC stations going to remain? I’m just saying that the “remove a few NPC stations” possibility is most definitely on the table. We have no idea what CCP might do.

In that whole post you forgot to write why would they want to do that, when players already can shoot other stations. There is no need, and never was a need, and never will be a need for that, when player structures exist.

I asked one of the devs think it was a short while before citadels were added, answer I got then was nothing was being planned for NPC stations in such a regard.

However, with a new company controlling the game they might not want to be shackled with what went before and as this thread has highlighted anything is now possible.

Triglavians are not interested in stations. Triglavians will be occupying or leaving system after some time, getting what they needed from star.

After the extraction will be completed, they could just go back to abyss, achieving the prime objective of invasion.

This is the most probable thing that will happen I think. The systems could be staying as abyssal known space, changed in visuals, anyway, occupied or not. But NPC stations unaffected or transferred to Triglavians if they would be there to stay.
