I didn’t think I would have to save any of the e-mail junk they send me so I trashed it. I got one warning me of the age of chaos. I actually read it and knew what was coming. Sorry you didn’t.
I think this is one of the few times bitter old vets could see the writing on the wall from loooooog experience of dealing with CCP. “Most” of us prepared in one way or another…
I’m tempted to correct some fundamental mistakes about the nature of stuff with some science.
I shall refrain.

If I wasn’t such a forum junkie and habitual clicker of the launcher info window, I would not have known about these changes. (And I can’t recall whether the blog was linked in the launcher)

This is why I regularly check patch notes when I’m active.
I’ve never run a citadel but I used to run a POS, if I was taking a longish break I’d take it down, if it was a short term break I left it up and used the API and an app to send me OoG emails if anything changed like fuel, someone taking potshots etc.
Either way my BPO’s lived in the nearest NPC station when they weren’t being used for copying or researched.
as often as you post on the forums, you should have known that there was over a month’s notice about the upcoming change, if you didn’t, then that is your damn fault.

Even I knew about it, it’s part of the reason I came back. Not to participate in it (gotta train a new character) but because CCP has been making space more dangerous again.
So if someone who doesn’t play, doesn’t own a citadel or care for them in any way knows about it then someone who admits to actively playing, who is using and owns a citadel, certainly can and should know about it.

Hunt around on google for stuff by Apricot Baby and T’Amber, it’s the same person.
They did loads of custom skin concepts for our amusement back in the day and also made this awesome tool for us to play with.

The claim was that CCP did “give plenty of warnings”. This is wrong. He knows it. Therefore he is a liar.
There is just no way around this. He repeats the same BS things, which are factually false, and adds in nonsensical moral judgement that nobody cares about, with insults in them.
BTW I received 0 mail containing “fortress”.
The last mails I received are “project discovery returns”, “gathering storm and lightning strikes”, “10% off selected plex”, “invasion chapter 3”, “capsuleer day clash event”, “eve portal jita plex market”, “capsuleer day”, “capsuleer generosity celebration”, “the hunt begins again”, “eclipse quadrant 2 apr 6”, “loyalty to lowsec”, “friendshiop is the best ship”, “bonus sp weekend returns”,
That’s the mails I received since first of march.
I also received personal mails from Eve.
