A self destruct button, to deny gankers their income, is an asshole idea coming from assholes who “mistake” an asshole move with “fighting back”. The assholes do what they always do.
They find reasons and use them to get what they want. They change reasons until one of them sticks. They use “children” and or “victims” as reasons whenever they can, because they’re really the assholes i am calling them.

I have no idea what your mindset is, you may have a very high focus on raging carebears for all I know. But generally funding their activities is important to Eve players, you obviously would not like to go grind missions?

I have no interest in looking at that bonus room like site. And it does not matter what your motives are. All I am interested in is that ganking is correctly balanced. But what you seemed to be indicating is that you would not be bothered if the target was able to self-destruct all their loot. Surprises me because another group of gankers told me that they did it for the loot. I suppose it all depends on what side of the bed you got out of in the morning…

I don’t presume to say why you do it, all I know is that you do, but still at the end of the day anything has to have a rationale or economic backbone, even if it is donations from others.

But it’s not based on any economic or monetary reason, which is why people like you are so confused.
Code arent like other gankers. Whereas gankers will scan the ship ahead of time, because they want to target a ship filled with loot and not an empty ship, code will not. They will target any and all ships. They will target pods, solely pods, which obviously do not drop anything. They will kill empty freighters. Mining ships. Things that have no value expect the value of the ship itself.
Code ganks are based on an ideology, not any monetary gain. Money is secondary, tertiary. We gank, because of a greater good.

That is a rationale that some of you have, others are different, still no matter what you say you have to have some way of getting ISK to fund it, be it donations loot or nullsec ratting…

Yeah, stop working with old data. Red Frogs move 1.5B - cause ehp now is actually high enough to make this viable.
ISK is not needed as much as you think. Someone occasionally may send a couple hundreds / thousands catas just cause he wants some bear corp suffer but can’t wardec them cause of war eligibility… and they can have as many as 4K members at that! Other times ppl donate for the cause…

When did they make that change. If it was recent it is likely nothing to do with EHP. The last time I looked to use Red Frog it was still 1bn and that was some time after the DCU change. Would be interesting to see when Red Frog changed that.
About two years ago. Looks like you have not used them for a while.
I do my own hauling, well that is good to hear as I thought 1bn was stupidly low and poor game balance. I hope that continues on a upward trend…
