I decided to do something instead of just whining about it.
So, instead of just whining, i will whine REGULARLY here, until morale improves CCP lets me spin my capitals in station again.
edit: The boading videos of new ships are cool though. good work on that. could show off some skin effects, or maybe play the video when you get a new skin? anyway.

Also you can brag with expensive ship skins to others on the undock while you do it!

Exactly. Ship spinning needs to be in fact remove so players are forced to actually undock!!!
In a game like this no one should be forced to anything.
Eve is about spaceships. But i cant even see the butt of my capitals in station.
And even the 4ish fixed camera angels are bad because either the ships is in darkness or the light reflecting make the ship look flat.
Seems the cost of the ammo used might have exceeded the total amount that was dropped. Just saying…

Honestly I like that capitals cannot spin in stations.
It makes the station interiors feel cramped for capital ships, which intuitively makes capital ships feel big compared to regular ships. Like they should.
I think it’s a nice trick to give us a feeling of scale.
Yes, you can replay your boarding videos and it will show off your new skin.
